Ha Ha.  Nah, just sticker over your existing one!  I wish I got this creative when I did my own cab 2 years ago!  Keep watching this space as I have another cool generic one coming tomorrow which I think people will like....

Heres another more generic one.  I have tried to incorporate all the manufacturer logos.  If anyone has a vector version of the new stern logo then please send it to me as I can't find it.  I have included the Vector file with all company logos and the font again if you need it.  I find it easier to modify the manufacturer logos in inkscape, recolour as need be and then export to a file to import in photoshop.  This seems to result in an ultra sharp image - Zoom in the photoshop file at 100% to see.

 

Tip:  To change the colour of the light burst background simply click on that layer and then go to image->adjustments->Hue/Saturation.  Play with the sliders to change from orange to whatever you like.

 

The backbox and front are more of an example of what can be done with using the game logos.  The individual game logos are simply the hyperpin wheel logos from this site.

As to those people requesting art, I am not really taking requests as I am just doing this for fun.  I will consider peoples requests for specific themes but I pretty much do whatever pops into my head - and more importantly what I can find High Resolution artwork for.

Cool idea with mapping the playfields on the cutouts, i like that!

Also the Metroid design is the bomb!

 

And don't feel pressured by requests, after all you're doing this for free!

Here's an idea: I always thought it would be cool to see a Doom themed cab (as in the awesome game by iD software). Not sure if you'll find any good high res art, though.

Yeah all themes are dependent on hi-res art.  I only want to produce stuff at full 300dpi super crisp that will look great printed.  However, you never know what people put out there on the net.  I'll keep all requests in the back of my mind in case good stuff appears in searches.

Spawn Pinball Art.  I know I said I technically don't take requests but... I did happen to find some cool Spawn vector art while looking for zombie art and so couldn't resist.  So yeah if anyone feels like they want to throw requests out my way then go for it.  If I happen to come across some art that will work I may just create something.
