The Addams Family - based on the table by Bally from 1992
TBased on the 1992 Bally Addams Family.
Thanks to all the betatesters involved.
Thanks to Leo for the backdrop and for the hand pics, thanks to ChispaMaster for the plastified look, thanks to Lord Hiryu, UW and Groni for some of the images and sounds used and of course thanks to JPSalas, many of the sounds and textures are from him.
Revision 1.01. (01 - May - 2010)
The ball now shouldn't get stuck at any places in the table.
Revision 1.02. (06 - May -2010)
Fixed the boockase lock entrance
Fixed the "two balls at the same time" issue.
Added the hole walls graphics to the kicker holes and some missing plastics.
Added the metal wire for the apron.
Added missing animation for the ring of the red bumper
Improved thing flips.
Some code cleaning.
Adjusted physics, acording to JP's standards, now the table plays faster. If it's too fast to you, just change the Global Difficulty Level to something lower (value between 0 and 1, it's set by default to 0,5)
Revision 2 (1 - November - 2011)
Massive Update.
Updated to VP91X: Transparent ramps, transparent plastics. New Screws, nuts, pegs... New metal and wood textures, new flashers, new sounds, new physics, added missing sensor (sensor 58 at the end of the ramp) and losts of little adjustments I just can't remember!

Even when everything looks amazing this table has nothing to do with the real one, here the ball bounces just too much.
That's my humble opinion.
A great table, but there's still a tiny issue I've been having with it that I was wondering if you might be able to fix. Whenever you shoot the ball up to Thing and Gomez groans "No! No! No!" and Thing puts the ball back down after picking it up, the game apparently loses the ball, for it doesn't kick out like it should and the game's "brains" keep trying to find it by working all the kickout holes, the G-R-E-E-D Bookcase, and of course Thing, stopping the gameplay dead. The only way to break the table out of this loop is to completely exit the table into the editor and start over, rebooting it with th F3 key doesn't help.
Thing works fine for all the other actions he performs, just this one doesn't work right...

I have the same issue
And when tunnel quest, if i return in the chair it's not add like the original.
Please fix my prefered table
Edit for thing problem :
Yes I had same problem.I fixed by unquoting lines 685 and 686 in the script. Should look like this.sw87.CreateBallsw87.enabled = True

Applied the fix, now the table's working fine, so a big thank-you from me! I had been making do by playing Addams Family Gold, but now that it's working properly I have both the Gold and the original version (which is my favorite, for I cut my pinball-playing teeth on a real one down at the local pizza parlor, many happy memories blowing stacks of quarters in it and setting off the free game knocker so many times the pizza kept getting cold before I got around to eating it).
Cheers,
Brendan
when i play this on Visual Pinball 9, the sound doesn't work
this table is amazing. great work.
Thanks!
