Just wondering if BAM headtracking makes use of Kinect's IR depth sensor or does it simply use the colour camera?

Reason I ask is someone on facebook mentioned adding a light on the backbox to shine on their face and be better illuminated when room lights are off. I suggested maybe an IR light might work and be less intrusive, but then thought that perhaps this would conflict with the IR of the Kinect itself?

Hi Gravy

I would like to talk a bit about BAM.

I can´t feel 3D depth in BAM with 2 eyes vision. It is strange but  I feel a bit better 3D feeling with only one eye. Just as a mobile phone camera when a make any video.

Do you know how to config BAM to feel a real 3D depth?

I´m using Kinect2 Tracking

Thank you any information

You won't get 3d depth with 2 eyes unless you combine it with a 3D TV or a 3D mode of some sort. This is the main reason many people don't use it on FP or VP (as 3DTVs are no longer made).

Hi Terry

Thank you for your promptly reply.

First of all, Your videos with guides on the topic are amazing and very good.

I am a faithful user of 3D mode. Luckily I have these rarities (3D TV). I thought that BAM was an alternative to be used on a 2D TV just like anaglyph mode is.

On 3D TV is ok.

Either way, it's an very good additional experience.
