Hope you like it smile.gif

I have been working on FP binaries format since FP forums got closed.
I have also other tools in the pipe, but with Steve's help and impulse I've started with this FPM editor.

Feel free to report any problems you may have.

Well I imported a dog model that I made into it fine. I definately have to rescale it as it looked like an ant next to the ball. Good news is that it works!

Great work LvR!

What sucks now is I have to go to work and can't play with it any more. cray.gif

hehe I broke something. I built a flipper with a post from its pivoting end on which I mounted a little space station toy (you might hazard a guess what table its for). fp crashes when I run a table with it in it lol. maybe I used too many polygons....

this is such an easy tool to use! thanks again.

EDIT: Ok - its not saving right. when I reload the FPM its empty. every time. any ideas?

Please read the documentation for potential problem.
Crashing item are likely to happen, but are easily fixable...so don't give up.

Extra Tips : always test your new model in a new table. When you are good with it, import it to a COPY of your table.

Right, and if the newly created table crashes, send me your fpm so that I can test it and debug if necessary.

This is a great stride in FP model development, for sure!

Thanks for all your hard work on this, LvR.

I do have one question, though...

If Black releases a new FP that breaks the modeling structure already in place. Will it break this, too? Will it be easy to rework into the new format?

I'm hoping so...

Keep up the good work!

As we haven't any news from black, yes, there is still a risk.
I will however be happy if a new version of FP come, with some improvements.
But as the future is still uncertain, this tool bring us hability to make new models, even if it will become deprecated with a new version of FP.
