I guess you know the drill. If not, here's the rundown.

1) Highscores have to be made with factory settings (no changes in the operators menu)
2) 3 balls, no buy-ins.
3) NVRams have to be attached in ZIP archives if you want to attach them. Nope, NVRams can be attached too.
4) If not, just post your last high score you made.

Me? I just finished a round of Scared Stiff. 10 mil, Level 7 on the Stiff-O-Meter (stupid f'n ramps). No extra balls. I should get back to training, I suck at this table.

That's pretty good. I only got 7,646,620. I'm not sure about the other stuff like the stiff-o-meter, I don't know how to check for that.

Extra Balls: Easy enough to remember.
Leapers: Rough estimate.
Stiff-O-Meter: Take the level you made on the Stiff-O-Meter mode, add 10 for every "Scared Stiff".
Monster Multiball Jackpots: Rough estimate.
Spider Spins: Estimate.

That's the way I did it.

I managed to complete the stiff-o-meter 3 times and the spider wheel once in one game. The spider wheel frustrates me so I don't try for that too often

60 Billion on Johnny?
I could only manage 10 Billion. How I envy you.

Which gives me an idea: the Highest of High Scores. Everyone compares scores from the three "Big Scorers"
  • Attack From Mars
  • Jack.Bot
  • Johnny Mnemonic

Which will be the highest score?

Update: New High Score on AFM 12.25B, 37 Martians.
Got 4/6 to lite Rule The Uinverse: missed out on Super Jackpot, and was 8 shots away from destroying Mars.
But that beats my JM score, but not Noah's...

Anyone got higher on the high-scoring three?

Hi all,

Always fun to compare highscores and swap out the stories behind them! I've been busy posting them at the JPG-pins forum, but here are my top 3 achievements:

Indiana Jones (1993), redux 2.6r version: Unoffically I once scored over 5B but then VPinmame quit on me! Official score for me is 4.175.892.560 with Superball buy-in I must add! I thought this to be more of a regular feature of the table and already had some discussion on the old vp forum if this is exempt from the no buy-in rule. But anyway, I think a decent score on a buggy but very nice table that I played to death in my college days. Reached eternal life wizard mode 2 times, 1 completed! Jive's mod 2.7 is also very nice but is not quite there yet with some bugs and way too much arcade feel in the play. I believe the 4B put me in place 2 or 3 of the old VP.com highscore site.

Attack from Mars (JP-Groni v2.2): 125.210.476.360. I know of a 169B score by Bolt and there are probably better scores around still. Had me 127 Martians to go with that smile.gif

Lord of the Rings (JP-Groni v2.1): 831.138.570 (I had a very good game, my previous high was 631 mil). And I think a very nice Ring Time: 16.29 secs! I know Bolt (again dry.gif ) has a high score in the 900 mil range but I haven't seen anyone beat my Ring Time yet wink.gif No Valinor for me yet, have met all the requirements at least a couple of times but in different games. Especially winning all the multiballs in one game is quite tough, most trouble with the ROTK MB.

Some pics:

And the nvrams (see attachments)

Well, back to LOTR for me! I have to beat Bolt to the 1B......
Greetz Slam23

PS: sorry for the big pictures, I'm still learning how to post them at all, so now I have to figure out how to downsize them in the post....

Well, looks like someone beat Noah on the "Highest of the Highscores" challenge! 125M on AFM beats 60M on JM! Anyone got higher? Not me, just 12M and 4/6 to lite RTU.

They should do more pinball games where there is a record for winning a wizard mode as fast as possible! (Like the fastest to score all 5 Billion on RTU! Why didn't the designer think of that until he was at STERN?)

Don't forget about Bolt's score of 169B! And Groni was even speaking of a friend who scored 433B but I think that was on a real machine. But I guess until Bolt posts his scores here I'll be holding his crown for a humble moment.... smile.gif Anyway, I'm with you on the whole timing thing. I had a lot of fun competing for the Ring Champion Time, and although that's not a real wizard mode, it comes close because it's actually the time required to complete all Ring shots and destroy the One Ring after playing all Movie Multiballs. Would be fun to see who would win the fastest RTU, or maybe the fastest to RTU (a la "speed run" for platformers and other type of games): I guess the person who is the most skilled at completing the regular jackpot multiball has the best chance, because all other requirements are far more easy to complete IMHO. Especially because when you don't complete it, it is real hard to get it again. Second hardest thing to complete fast are the destroy the saucer sequences because of the risk of STDM drains. I always try to shoot via the bumpers. Fun trivia for AFM (credit to Groni): if you get past your 30th Total Annihilation, you're supposed to get a cool 5B bonus too. Haven't seen that confirmed yet (I guess my highest total TA would be in the region of 15 at most), but it's really cool that the designers thought ahead of that. Well enough blahblah from me!
