Hello guys,

 

Pinemhi was working very well during several years on my pincab, but now I am facing some strange problems:

 

When VPX or PinUp are working:

 

- uploading a new score doesn't work

- pressing a button reacts very slowly if i want to make a pinemhi window appear

- reading the online leaderboard is not possible (small black square empty on my screen) whereas it is working properly when vpx/pinup are off

 

It looks like it can't connect the server during a vpx session; I can for example ask to see my personnal leaderboard which doesn't need the server...

 

I use VPX 10.8 (recently installed) and the last version of pinemhi...

Is it a known problem? Could you help me, please?

Hi Ben,

 

It's probably got to do with the new vpx install..did you use another folder for it then before perhaps?
you should check the path in pinemhi.ini

do you mean if you use the commandline to get scores by that?

Those are 2 very different things, the offline and online scores

Otherwise you can post the first piece of your pinemhi.ini and let me know where vpx 10.8 and vpinmame is installed in

and also of course some logging from pinemhi leaderboard log where you ran some games is handy

oh and also your username on pinemhi leaderboard

Hi DNADisturber,

 

I have tried this morning and it has worked for a very short time (1 score on mystic!).

Now it is blocked again (no implementation of new scores on the server, and impossible to read the online challenge scores)

Maybe an internet malfunction from my side? Or another problem?

 

My pinemhi.ini:

Can you post your pinemhi log file to check whats going on ?

Will you repeat the flipping Cow Golf Contest? Or is it ongoing already? Table shows scores of the last finished contest only, Not the actual winners. Or is it not related to the weekly Golf thing?

It is not related to the weekly golf thing

 

Wanted to do more of those but it wasn't a great success , not many wanted to compete so there probably won't be another 18 hole golf course

Maybe 9 holes only and shorter Tee-times (1 or 2 days per hole or sth)? 18 weeks is a long time if it was that way.

you could play all the holes in any particular order (was open for 4 months)
