Hello,
Having lived through and participated in the late pinball and then coin op video game and redemption game industries, its time to go Virtual Pinball!
These industries have been good to me, I got involved in writing monthly articles for a industry magazine, Play Meter. Worked as a senior technician for a movie theatre company with games in all the lobbies. I was responsible for service and parts for 1000+ video games.
I was involved in the design of a convertible coin operated (works in a drawer) video game cabinet for the theatre lobbies. The game "guts" could be shipped VIA UPS to the theatre lobby and easily installed into the cabinet for a "new game" (the old drawer would be shipped back for conversion).
After that job was completed, I took a step back and worked as a technician at a local family fun center.
I had the chance to play most every coin operated pinball and video game made in the 1980's and 1990's.
Now its on to Virtual Pinball, I'm just now deciding on the details of my cabinet.
I hope to glean lots of information from this and other virtual pinball forums.
This hobby LQQks very exciting and fun.
