Hi Everyone,

It's with a heavy heart that I must announce the unexpected passing of Loserman76 (Jeff Whitehead) on November 16th.

I don't know any details. I just happened upon the email his wife sent in response to a PM notification from another member.

It's always a sad day when we lose one of our own.

I would love to hear stories of people's interaction with him. He was a good guy, and I feel I missed a great opportunity to get to know him better. So, if you have any stories, please share.

RIP, Jeff.

Nooooooooooooooo ! This really breaks my hearth. I've had a few interactions with Jeff over the years, but, I can't say that I know him. Like you Noah, feeling sad not taking the opportunity to get to know him better. All I can say though, is that he was always a great guy "talking to" via the forums. Very knowledgeable and willing to give a hand and guidance. It just doesn't feel real to hear this, so, I'm kind of in denial. Last login to VPU on 15th.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

A huge loss for the community.

We interact during the releases of Jack Open (Gottlieb 1977) and Bow and Arrow (Bally 1974), great knowledge of EM machines and the code to make them in VPX.

Thank you @Losermam76 for every release you gave us and the time spent for this hobby.

My deepest condolence to the family

Jeff was the first builder I every worked with in VP.... he was also the first builder to trust me enough to mess with his table/tables.... he was alway kind to me... he brought countless tables people that would never in there life get to play in real life....
this will be first builder that i knew to pass away.... so VERY sad about this   :sorry:

I’m truly saddened by this and send my condolences to his friends and family.

I loved his many tables and he recreated many of my favorite EMs.

I only interacted with him once directly, when requesting to update one of his tables, and he was very supportive to me.

This is a big loss in so many ways.  I’m thankful for the tables and support he brought to the community.
