Download it again. I believe I saw in the beta thread, authors discussing that they seen this happen.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Thank you Thalamus, I've just re-downloaded the table (on my desktop PC) and the sounds are there. I have many tables on my cab with this problem. How can it happen to have all table sounds deleted? Maybe some sort of VPX bug when saving?

It sounds weird and I have never experienced it myself. If you have it on many tables. I'm sure that the devs would like to hear about it. Maybe ask what version you run, what is installed etc.

That use to happen to me when I was editing the tables on a computer which did not have a sound card, due to a missing driver. When I saved the tables on that computer all the sounds were gone. But that's a long time ago (2 years or so ago)

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Thanks guys, based on your thoughts I think I've found the culprit. Sometimes I connect to the picab trough remote desktop (RDP). In that case the audio card is not seen and the audio manager is always empty. In that case, if I make a change and save the table I most likely lose all the sounds.

Do you think it's something worth reporting to devs?

Yes ! :) Just point them to JP's answer and your response and it will be a great report for the devs.

Excellent table but it is very hard to see if letters "P" and "A" from PAID lanes are lit because those lights are exactly behind the ramp.
