[Vault Boy]

After starting up Future Pinball and loading the Sci-Fi table then playing it, the controls aren't working besides nudging. It also says Game Over at the top right. Anyone know any possible solutions or reasons why?

Right click the Future Pinball exe and Run as administrator.

...or... You need to insert credits? With '5'

If you are on Vista or Windows 7, make sure that you are running Future Pinball in administrator mode. This can be done by right-clicking on the icon, going to properties, then the compatibility tab and check the run as administrator box at the bottom.

Hi, i have the same problem and nothing you have said works

I run it in Administrator mode and i try to insert coin, but nothing happens.

 

I have pressed all buttons and nothing happens except for nudging...

Same here, tables load up just fine.. left/ right flippers nudge instead of working

Only Coin and Start work as intended. I'm using Windows 10 desktop and it's driving me crazy lol

Confirmed - Running Windows 10, You need to run the "Future Pinball.EXE" in ADMIN MODE or you get No Keyboard Controls.

I use Windows 7 Compatibility Mode, you can try other modes on your system to see which one works.

Insert Coins = 5

Start Game =  1

Left Right Shift Keys = Flippers

Space bar for Tilt

None of us run FP as admin ever, and we have controls just fine.

Suggest do not install FP to program files or other protected folders.

FP does not require admin rights to function properly

Hello. Sorry to give my experience, but YES, on Windows 11 new computer with latest Future Pinball, the tables have NO CONTROLS KEYS if you do not run in admin mode.

in admin mode it work's fine.
