Wow, great score!! smile.gif dblthumb.gif
You didn't beat my FS high score of 1.4B+ but you were very near! Especially when you say that you tilted the machine, so it could have even been higher. I had high hopes of my score standing for some time, but I clearly have to watch out for you! Did you play on 4:3? It's customary to supply a screen shot with the highscore in the DMD, so please post that. Congrats on reaching Valinor Multiball, I just recently did that myself,

tilted the game eventually because I didn't have time to play on

also reached my first Valinor multiball (also my first wizard mode with vp ever! :-))

now where can I see if this is a high score?

here's the screen shot for confirmation, hope this gets added to the high score list now

heh, if I'd known of your score I would maybe have played on

gonna tackle it eventually :-)

Hi lmtr14,

To beat me you'll have to play the FS version though, the high scores are kept seperate for 4:3 and fullscreen. I can highly recommend playing FS (I play on a swivel mount, with a widescreen monitor turned 90 degrees sideways). The graphics tend to be better, you can see more of the table and follow the ball(s) better that way. It's also more difficult because there is more "real estate" to watch and keep track off, especially in multiball situations. Another drawback I hear of but that's one I'm not having trouble with, is the flat view/lack of depth that for some gives an artificial feel. The layback settings that are possible in VP 9.12 do alleviate that problem a bit. Anyway, still a great score for 4:3, you are actually in first place with that one I believe, so maybe I have to go after your 4:3 score instead of the other way round! And your in the Valinor Club also!

I think somebody told me I can't play the fs version, had trouble with the regular version in the beginning (massive lags during multiballs) until I started fiddling with the options, my laptop isn't very powerful

lotr is a very easy table (or maybe it's just well designed), hardly any avoidable drains (which is a problem with many tables), shots can be hit very easily, tilt is extremely generous

trying to master Twilight Zone now...

I think this can be easily beat because it was only my second game. Just didn't get to the final challenge, it was lit.... This machine pumps out a lot of extra balls, I must have had about 6-8 of them. Only tripled the factory grand champion score. The flow and speed on this pin are incredible, really nice work by JP! I haven't played the real thing so I don't know how they would compare. Doesn't seem like a lot of depth to the table,

Hi guys,

I've tried my rusty 4:3 chops on my new VAIO laptop, and they were still working: got 8.657.998.940 on JPSalas No Fear 9.1x 1.0 version (4:3). I finished all modes and had about 4-5 extra balls. I think this table is a bit easy and with some dedication a much higher score is probably in the works somewhere. I may have read somewhere that Grizz already did 11B on this machine, but forgot in which thread he posted that. Anyway, until the time he posts his, this score is mine!

@yukiko1701d: The FS game and this one took about the same time I guess, around 30-45 minutes? It is probably closer to 30.
