Wooooow! Ninuzzu I think this is one of the best new VP10 tables to date!! Especially the effect when GI is turning on and off is totally realistic! I think this grade of realism wasn't reached before! Just wonderful!! And the original sound samples makes the gaming experience even better!
Thanx for that great version!
How do you think he does it? (I don't know...) What makes him so good?! ![]()

I want to add something to the Tommy table: I have absolutely no performance problems with that table - it runs totally fluid, even at multiball. Almost no other VP10 table has that great performance on my system (and I think my system is not the slowest with an i5 2500k, GTX 660, Win7 64bit). I wonder why this is that way? What is your secret? ![]()
By the way - I found a FS setting with a little more depth: 12, 50, 75, 270, 1.03, 1.34, 1, 70, 6, 0

Thanks for the adjusted view Clarkie!
Also found that the VPX tables is quite demanding. Have an i7 (see my banner) but
maybe my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 is a bit out dated? Is the GPU the weak link here? (sorry for OT)
Great flow on yor Tommy table thouh mr ninuzzu! Superb work.
Love the bumper sound

I was using a 560ti with my i5, and always had to make trials with my settings to avoid stuttering on some Vpx tables. This is not the case anymoren with my new 970.

Just wanted to give a comment about performance.
First of all these are the Specs of my Cab:
Motherboard: ASUS P5Q SE2
CPU: Intel Core2Quad Q9550 (2,83GHZ)
GPU: NVIDIA GTX580
RAM: GSkill 8GB
SSD: SanDisk 128GB
OS: Win7 64
with this obviously outdated Stuff i have no Problems running VPX Tables. Most of them have 150-170 FPS some more. So far there is only one Table that begins to stutter when i reach a point where i have 4 or more Balls on a Multiball (this is a Table i can't really talk aboit here, but here is a Hint: It has something to do with a british Rockband). All other Tables run smooth.
I had a small conversation with Fuzzel some time ago where i wondered that an Core2Duo 3GHZ wouldn't give a better performance than a Core2Quad 2,83GHZ as i believed that VP so far only utilized 2 Cores. Fuzzel stated that VP indeed wouldn't support Multicore. From my observations this is not true. When running a real Time Monitor i can clearly see that all four Core are very busy while running VPX. Well, it may be that the OS shuffles around with the Tasks to clear up Processing Time, but it seems that this works very well.
As i mentioned before, the OS is Win7 x64. One funny thing i noticed was that if i deactivated the Aero Design in the hope of getting an even better performance on the GPU that this action led to the opposite and Framecount dropped by some 25% in VPX.
Taking all this in consideration the conclusion is that there is something fishy here. My Rig has no Problem playing GTA V in 1920x1080 with almost all the fancy stuff maxed out, giving a great Performance FPS-wise. So why should it have a Problem with VPX even when it is demanding due to Physics and Graphics. And why do have some of the Guys around here Problems with Hardware far better than mine, when i have not?!

The table you speak of is stuttering for you because I have not updated the collision code in it and posted an update.
The problem is not noticeable on very fast processors it seems so I haven't been that motivated to post the update with other projects going on.
I'll try to do it this week though and I'm pretty confident it will fix your issue.

And thanks to ClarkKent for the images and sounds here you have TOTAN for VPX.
The table needs the latest vbs since it uses the new vpinmame calls for the trough and saucers.
The table is dark and noisy, thanks to the samples ClarkKent provided. Also thanks to him for some images and a ton of resources (pictures, videos, sounds).
Playfield is still the one Grizz made.
The 3D lamp was made by Michael Gallo.
The Genie was made by fuzzel, and I only did some small modifications (I think I gave the Genie too many steroids
)
The download link is in my web site.

thanks man! Gotta try the aero on/off thingy then
Do you also have all the DOF gears? My guess is that this takes its fair share of the frame rate?
cheers
I don't have DOF on my Cab... i also do have a 2 Monitor Setup only. I think this will give some extra Frames also.
