Ced, go into paint, and reduce the size of your white background.
Then you can get the full screenshot.

Did you know that "playing pinball" is called "flipperen" in Dutch? Now you know and may your life be enriched by this arcane knowledge....

I played for about 20 games before I got my score - how did you get your points? I made one full adventure, made it to the mystery mode and got like five extra balls. I'd be playing it right now if I wasn't watching the Niners game.

@ McD
I had a lot of bad games up until that point. I haven't really read the rules yet, just figuring things out by playing. I remember getting about 250M for completing one adventure ("boat"), and getting also about 5 extra balls from various unknown sources. I did something right with a steam frenzy, scored a double jackpot which at that point was quite high. It could also have been a lucky combination of scoring big while playfield was at 2x. I'll study the rulesheet and then try again. With my usual pattern, I'll suck for another 30 games because then I'll consciously will try stuff and fail at that.... A couple of things that stood out to me (also in comparison with VP):
- No FS sad.gif
- Visuals are really nice. I just can't get the 1600*1200 to work, how about you? It's blacked out as option in the graphics settings menu. Forum search over at GOG.com doesn't yield anything useful
- Physics are quite nice but the slope of the table feels a bit too steep, the balls tend to accelerate while "falling". The flippers have the bounciness and elasticity of the UR/NF tables. They lose power when balls are shot too much towards the rotation point, having more power towards the tip (as should be)
- Nudging is really hard! Nudging works very differently from VP, not "bending" the ball towards one side but just giving it a slight "shudder" that may give a few degrees of control but not much more
- The Dot Matrix DMD is in the way of the upper playing field a lot of the time, this was worse on the Timeshock machine though
Well, those are some of my observations, back to playing!
Slam23

PS: what are "niners"? That sounds like baseball to me?

A) The Niners are the San Francisco 49ers (or Fortyniners) - an American Football team.

B) I have only 1280x800 for my resolution, so I can't even try the other resolutions.

C) There is actually an option to change the slope and more, but I think that would be going away from "factory default".

D) I don't even know if there is a rulesheet available - at least one that goes into detail.

Well, this was different. So I'm watching a hilarious LP of the Super Columbine Massacre RPG - a game which is in quite bad taste, but positively laughable because of the low quality, and decide to play some VP. And what happens? I have the best game of LOTR I've ever had in my life. Destroyed the Ring, collected four - count em - four Gifts Of The Elves, played TT Multiball thrice and collect the Super Jackpot, played ROTK Multiball twice and got up to like Level 6 and... did quite horribly on the one Fellowship Multiball I got. Well, that one can blow me anyway. I even managed to finish the Witchking mode, a mode I dread because of it's reliance on accurate ramp combos, something I'm not that well at.

So I head over to compare... and get blown away. Well, I don't care. To me, this is a bloody beautiful score, even if somebody managed to do tenfold of that.

Table: LOTR, JP's version - newest one.
VP: 912.
Score: 141,490,710 - with a Destroy Ring time of 55,69.

Bonus: You get to see how my desktop looked at the time of playing. Yes, that is how I played that game.
