Update 1.4.0
  • New flipper settings based off of Terminator 2
  • Other major physics changes to accommodate flippers
  • This update should play very differently, please let us know what you think!

View File

I know I said earlier that this update wouldn't come for a while, but I started tinkering with it and this turned out to be a lot easier to update than HSII is going to be - so enjoy and let Noah and I know how you think these setting feel on this table! cool.gif

Ok, i have played with the new version a bit...overall it has a much better feel, but i think that the return speed of the flippers is a tiny bit slower on the real table...check this video at 2:00 and on...

and this:

Someone can easily be confused about the actual speed judging from a video though...maybe i'm wrong ..or VP is "losing" some frames in flipper movement.

Something else that i've noticed, is the maximum speed of the discs is much more higher on the real table and the friction might be better set to medium...

Thanks again!

I can confirm that 1.01 has fixed the missing apron issue on my system. Thanks again for this great recreation.

There are no textures over 1024, so you're running out of VRAM the old fashioned way.

Reduce your resolution or drop to 16-bit.

OK, I tested this new version, and it seems to be a Whirlwind on stamins! Too much strength on the flippers. It looks as if the real game had its 11630 coils changed for 11629. Anyway, it is a fact that the physics are MUCH better. You may want to consider lowering the strength by about 20~30%. Also, the right ramp shot is very hard as it is now.
