Happy new year everyone

Very nice score. We pushed you and look what happened. Well done.

I'll hand my pick over to 2nd place if it still stands.

I have a new found love for this table now and also a couple of friends that own them. Look forward to playing it and learning more.

OK, guys, I'd love to play Gilligan's Island or Funhouse in the new VPX-version.

But I see, they are not on this site. So we must take another one.

Now we go back to the 70ies and Williams Gorgar should it be.

I've only play him a few times for testing, so that will be a week to learn the gameplay and reaction of this version.

The download: http://www.vpforums....&showfile=11822

Have a nice time.

Nice choice.
Used to own a Gorgar but sold him last year.
I think Noah had a nice hard to play vp9 version for me to use.

Will check if I have vpx version dl and see if it runs. I was able to play JPs smurfs.

Cant reach more about 300.000, its often a Drainer for me.

While i go deeper into this Table, i think the Flipper Physics arent the one like in some other Wiliams Tables ...

Whatever, thanks fuzzel, great Table of course

Yes, you're right. I play a few games and the physics aren't optimal; they are different from the real table.

The slingshots have not much power, there are not much elasticity on complete table.

The left kickout never goes to the left flipper. The magnet only sometimes stop the ball.

No offense: It's a good table and with a few changes in the physics it can be a wonderful one.

Maybe we can use this week for a few adjustements to get near the real table.

But we should play the tournament with the original table and make the changes in a copy.

Here is a gameplay of the real table: https://www.youtube....h?v=blJ6Ta_lPO8

By the was: 300.000 are a very good score. I only get one time a little bit over 200.000.

With the changes in my copy I have 590.000. The physics are a little bit better.

But I know too little about the physics.

OK, I change my physics like yours.

I have also change line 145 in the script. So the kicker goes to the flipper.

        bsLKicker.InitSaucer sw15,15,150,10

Also the force of the three bumpers to 12.

The two slingshots I set elasticity to 0,7 and friction to 0,5.

I have been getting a bit over 230,000. My main gripe with this table is that the ball likes to aim and drain in the right exit lane. Aiming for the extra ball lane sometimes shoots the ball into the right exit lane, unless you nudge it before it gets there. Also the most frustrating is that sometimes when plunging it into the playfield, the ball likes to force itself to the right exit lane too. So 80% of my drains has fell victim to the right exit lane.

Tough table, I've never played this one before. Best I can muster so far is 286,270 after about 30 games. I need to learn the rules.

Thanks to fuzzel for this VPX table. (Corrected)

I looked at the video linked by Joey and greatly reduced the flipper strength down to 1300.  Here is the version I am playing with.  https://www.dropbox.....3 Mod.vpx?dl=0

Just some quick tweaks - sling animation, flippers, bumpers, kicker settings, and rubber posts elasticity, pit flasher.  I also increased the rubber post and rolling sounds some.  I am not saying it plays any better or any more accurate :) , it just plays different...

My high score is in the low 300,000 so far

cc50be63092dbb26aae024915112bb0d.jpg 353.910 is my highest untweaked. I agree about the physic i will try with another settings above. But it,s a fun table anyway. I like Gorgar!! ;)
