Nialang: AMAZING MM Score!!
Welcome Pinball Girl and razoraustralia to our Hi Score Thread!!!

PinballGirl: Please read my Hi Score Post bottom of last page #84 on posting High Scores. You will need to capture a screenshot, by pressing PrtScnSysRq button (located on top row of keyboard to the right of f12 or fLOCK) while your high score is displayed during the DMD sequence. then open a picture viewer like Irfanview or other and Edit/Paste the picture. Save it in your documents or vpinmame folder in its own folder, like PinballHiScores. Full, NOT quick, REPLIES gives you the option then to upload the image from your saved folder of your high scores to your post. Remember to include all the information from my previous post in this thread, last page.
THANKS

I am new here. I have the screen picture of my top score using Ctrl Print screen and I did that after the game, I saved it as a word .doc file and didn't know any other way to save it as a Jpeg.

I just converted the file to a Jpeg like you said with Irfanview and tried to upload it but when I click upload nothing happens and I don't see the picture anywhere.

What am I doing wrong?

To save it as a jpeg:

First at the end of the game, do a Print Screen (press the PrntScrn key - you may have to press the Alt key at the same time) when your high score appears in attract mode.

Then, exit Visual Pinball, open up Microsoft Paint, press ctr-v to paste the capture into Paint, then do a Save As (give it a name and select jpeg from the drop down box for file type). Remember where your file is saved.

Then come back to the forums, and make a post and upload your image. To upload the image, look at the menu bars on top to the page. In the upper gray menu bar, look for IMGED-Image Hosting. Clcik on that and a new window will open for the image host. Then click on the Browse button and select your image file. Then click on the upload button. After it is uploaded, copy the link it gives you for Thumbnail for forums and paste it into your post.

That's it!

Pinballgirl: There are more than one way to save the picture, I use Irfanview. Ta2686 is a wealth of knowledge as well. If you are using Irfanview and have saved the pictures you have to browse for it in your post, if using FULL REPLY. Then click on OPEN, then UPLOAD and the image should be there above the UPLOAD button. Hope we have helped and again, Welcome to the Forum. Everyone is pretty helpful and friendly!!!.

Hi Razoraustralia, nice score! I think -looking at the screenshot- you are using a widescreen 16:9 monitor to play a 4:3 table and that gives a lot of "stretch" effect to the table. You can easily adjust that if you multiply the X-axis setting with about 0.85 (and you can experiment with this value a bit to find the best result, it doesn't change anything in how the table works). You can find the X-axis setting at the right in the VP editor when you click at "backdrop" in at the left menu in the VP editor and on "options". That way the table get a more "normal" perspective.

Android,

No sweat about asking. Yep, I played KISS using all factory/default settings.

I agree with you about VP9 being too unrealistic and too favorable with nudging the table. But what's weird is that when I play VP8 tables, I find that those have almost the exact opposite problem -- the nudging for those just doesn't work well enough. Too bad there isn't a nice happy medium between the two, which would make for the most realistic simulation.

But then again, I have absolutely zero knowledge about how to code any of these tables, and so I'm just always incredibly amazed/impressed/happy that people can make these virtual tables in the first place. Really, I have no reason even to bring up anything close to criticism at all.
