Hi There,

On a Windows 10 system I have followed all tutorials by TerryRed and also the first one by NailBuster.  All great videos - thank you.

 

Everything was going fine until I wanted to play a table with videos.  In the shortcut for the PinUPPlayerB2SDriver I have both B2SServerPluginInterface.dll and PinUpPlayerB2SDriver.dll.

 

The problem is I only see one single B2S Server Plugin for DirectOutput V 3.1.7011 ).

 

The shortcut for PinUPPlayer goes to V:\PinUPSystem\PinUPPlayerB2SDriver.

 

DMDDevice.Ini has the following...

 

[pinup]
; if enabled, send frames to PinUP.
enabled = true

 

I've chekced my log and the PUPLOG when I run a game with no files says...

...this tells me that this is actually working !

 

I think the single fault is I cannot get the Plugin Showing for B2SBackglassServer instance as only the Direct Output plugin shows from TerryRed's tutorial.

 

And advice would be really apprichated.

Hello All,

 

I wish I had made the effort to thank everybody in this wonderful community before I require help with an issue I am having with PinUp Player.  I'm more or less a noob as I have been playing around with PinballX and PinUp, I have 3 old screens arranged in the relevant orientations and I'm having a lot of fun!  So, thank you to all the developers/contributors, there is some talent out there making a man going through a midlife crisis very happy by enabling me to relive the fun I had in arcades as a youngster!

 

On to the issue:  I had the previous version of PinUp running as I wanted on all three screens. It’s fantastic BTW.  I upgraded to the new version but now I can’t get it to output to screens 2 or 3.  If I drag and drop the ‘template’ to another screen when I click save it moves it back to screen 1.  I have uninstalled and installed again but it hasn’t made any difference.  Apologies if this has previously been answered but I have looked honest.  Any ideas?  I’m talking specifically about PinUpPlayerConfigDisplays.bat.

 

I really want to continue with PinUp as it looks like it has more bells and whistles than anything else and I have been really happy with it this far.

When setting up your screens did you try refresh video or quick position then save

Yes, I tried both.  Quick position 1,2 and 3 all appear on screen 1.

Try this

What you might want to do is rename PinUPsystem folder to something like PinUPsystem-old

Then install the new stand alone 1.40

After you have it Set up then just copy over all your information for the games

I have looked high and low and cannot find anything about how to pause a game during play. I could in Pinball X, but I see nothing for PinUp system. Nothing to map to in controller set up. It always quits the game.

I have followed all the tutorials but pinupplayer does not load when i load a table. Is there anything i need to add into script or should it just work?

Hello all, i have some problems with my pinup player installation.

I run a table with pinballx ( hary potter gof) wen i quit to return to pinballx, the pup pack will not quit .....

I have to ctrl+alt+supr for resolve this problem and rerun pinballx.

All my dll are debloqued, i run all .exe in administrator mode....

Anyone has an idée ?

Hi Everyone....When loading popper my flippers don't work to move the menu left and right and I have to use keyboard. They work fine for gameplay. I've tried to assign the flipper switches in controller setup however they don't seem respond  . I am using SSF so all my cab switches hook up at the plunger board (ver 3).Any help appreciated!

Hi guys, Im getting crazy with this.

 

In my laptop and plugged to 2 screens, everything worked. Now in a fresh install, some tables works good and others doesnt trigger as they should, so I changed some values, external.dll use etc...now none of them work, it says "ACTIVE X COMPONENT CANNOT BE CREATED"....but when I hit in the PupUpDisplayConfig, all work!!

 

Can anyone help me? I´ve tried reinstalling everything!!!

My system says I am running version 1.3.4, but when I try to upgrade to 1.3.6 how do I do this? I tried overwriting the files but it still says I am on 1.3.4

When running pinup popper launching future in all on exit it flips my screens. My popper and dmd are now on my back glass
This only happens with future pinball not visual pinball . This was after I changed my future pinball setting now it flips my screen when I come out of future pinball back to pinup popper my dmd and topper are on my back glass and back glass is on my DMD screen. If I evict pinup system and relaunch its ok until I play future pinball

My wheel icons are in the wrong direction vertical , not horizontal . Don't know how this come . Its for pinball fx3 .

on the wheel in visual pinball they are oké .

I just downloaded the wheel images in the pinup popper software and now they render correct .

So problem solved .

Win10, VPX, VpinMame, PUP and things... ALL Updated..

Stranger Things, Clue, Guardians Of The Galaxy, Munsters, Total Nuclear Annihilation and others works PERFECTLY.

Masters, Tom And Jerry, Tron, Jaws not...
 

TRON : ppls says i must NOT use B2S (tried with and without it anyway) ONLY event clips starts (full screen) and they leaves a black screen when they ends.. till the next clip... BUT.. no Backglass video at all.... i even checked in the Pup folder, no backglass video found, so.. how the hell this one works to ppls i dunno XD
Tron:Legacy folder... all versions are the same...    ... only the trn_174h folder version have the proper backglass video, but no table around able to make calls to this folder/files...

the other pups i mentioned doesn't work at all
