Go try out the beta at vpinball. It's great!

Are you referring to the Mod that was released in november?

I know, dude, and I appreciate that.

I'm specifically referring to all the JP MODs we see out there that aren't discussed, or even shared, here. JP asks they be uploaded here, and I'm seeing a lot of that not being honored.

While that doesn't specifically apply in this particular case, as far af sharing, it would be nice to have the WIP discussion and beta here, too. I don't visit other sites, and I'm not alone in that.

Thank you.

You can import the attached POV file into the table. It is what i am using. Some other users probably have different layouts as well.

Rev 2.0b is now available for download.

  • Near ground-up rebild
  • New lighting
  • New Physics
  • New 3D models
  • Too many other things to mention

Big thanks going out to Cyberpex, Rothbauerw and Schreibi34 for helping out with some of the newer 3D items such as the new inserts prims for the PF, which look fantastic.

One big new feature of thew tables, is air-balls. Lots of air-balls, just like the real thing. When I play my real FH, I get wild air-balls getting launched off of the T & E targets at least 75% of the time, and also off of a few of the 1/2″ rubbers. That said, this is a feature that is still a bit of work in progress.  So I have had to make many plastics and other objects collidable, as to prevent stuck balls when they land on the table. And I am certain that you guys will find some new places, where the ball gets stuck. Please let me know when this happens, so I can plug the hole. Screen shots would also be very helpful.

Also from time to time, a launched ball from a target, can land on the wire ramp. I have also seen one fly all the way across the table, and into the shooter lane. Yes these really do happen on the real FH.

So as usual, please let me know of any concerns with the table. And I will get them addressed.

Enjoy. :)

Thanks. On real FH, the ball launches 75% of the time off of the T & E targets, and that 1/2" round rubber by the wind tunnel entrance. It will occasionally hit the glass here, but not very often.

BTW, I lifted your glass hit code and sounds from FP. :) I did however crank the volume up well over clipping to get a louder glass hit sound though. Somebody on Randrs site said that the ball hit the glass and scared the shit out of his cat.

Hahaha that's hilarious. Yea I don't think people realize just how loud that glass hit really is. Back in the day it would probably change the channel on your Zenith television.

10 years ago (or more :) ) we experimented with air balls, and we found out that VP was not made for air balls. The ball at that time was a simple squared plane which could get stuck all over the place. Nice to see that now it is possible to add that again. But I guess that it still needs to be controlled or watched very closely :)

The next evolution in this air-ball could be that when there's a hard hit on the glass, it would crack it  :D
