Whats about for everyone, who load the new conversions FP tables have 50 cent to donate till the reach of 2 licences? Thats not much and it woud be fast reached. Because I don't understand that so many people love the conversions but don`t donate a little. Thats really nor much and limeted tille reached your aim? It is a moral obligation for all Unity3D lovers to support this project.    .:-;

Sorry but nobody knows who and how much everybody donated. How do you know that not everybody who downloaded already, donated some ? Some more some less.
Why not doing a beta where people who donated x dollars get weekly updates if there are and?
I and some others i think would immediate spend another x euros if Team France  :)  would integrate directb2s as an option which integrates dof and would give us maybe more frames since the backglass dont have to be done through unity. Having this Option would be great and for me it would be worth a lot.
Maybe a own forum would be great with sub forums for tables etc where people can share configs etc which makes the game more fun or better  could give a push in donations Just my cents. No Offense.

Why should donations stop if the goal is reached. Those guys are doing great work. Why not donating on and on ?

While this dialog is still active, I can ALT+tab to Windows explorer and check: the tmp folder I created *has been deleted*. It no longer exists. I get the same blank extractor window as before.

I'm using Win 7 Home Premium SP1, for what it's worth.

Can you try to check "run as administrator" in the extractor.exe compatibility tab ?

Louizou, rom has contacted me and said that he is happy for this FP work to be used in UP, so let Dracula be reborn!! :otvclap:

Great news, thank you for asking him and thanks to him ;)

I must finish my week end challenge, then finish IJ and fine tune some of my tables.

After all this done, Dracula will be the next.

I would say that for any thing implicitly uploaded as a resource, you don't need 'permission' to use it, just be sure to note credit for the resource.

Ok, that's perfect, i've noted to modify all my scripts by adding credits to all participating guys and artwork builders

When I am using the menu on the right side of the screen that has all the settings, the mouse pointer always has to be about 1/4" higher up to click buttons and move sliders. If I put the pointer right on the slider or button it will not do anything. Anyone else have this problem?

Games play great in regular mode but when I put it in cabinet mode, I can't seem to find the red circles the drag the screens to size anymore. I made it happen one time somehow and have never been able to get them back.

And lastly, why is the flipper area in Scared stiff so dark? Had to really crank up the light to even begin to see them. lol

This mouse pointer shift probleme is really f*****g annoying, sometimes we got it, some time it disapears, it depends of the display mode used..... a real headache.
We'll try to fix it but i can't promise we will succeed

For the scared stiff darkness, i'm happy to hear that..I asked the same question to bilbox and he said to me that my cab's screen is a bull shit ! LOL

Maybe your's is crap too ! (I'm joking)

Here is the latest backglass (higher quality):

And did you try if the looping shot with the lower flippers is possible in this version? It's broken in almost in every version I've seen - only the VP version that I was working on works. Mostly because of not completely exact placed guides.

And when the ball is kicked out by the "wrong way" kicker, it should directly land on the right flipper - at the moment it hits the right slingshot and rolls to the other side.

Thanks a lot to my favourite Backglass and Playfield dealer  :db:

As usual, it's perfect !!
Maybe you have a backglass for Baby Pacman ? because the one i've made in a hurry is really horrible .....

And for the loop, i've managed to do it using the "debug shot" but not while playing.

I'll check this, i want it to reach the perfection

Donated! No time to check it out just yet, but if it's as flexible and dimensionally-accurate as it sounds, it could be the real-world dev tool that may ultimately replace VP for me.

Thanks a lot, man ! Give this a try and enjoy !!

Haven't had much time on this, but I just have to say even at this stage I can see huge potential.

The script control, even now, has more control over objects on the table than FP ever will. Textures and properties can be changed on the fly. When original tables are supported this can bring some great options.

Will try and get some more time to finish Simpsons Data east this week or next.

Anyone else working on FP conversions?

Glxb

Glad to see you begin enjoy the beauty of Mono C# !

It's just huge as hell !!

DONATED! :otvclap: You guys frikkin rocks! :D

We are not the only ones !
You all donators are tremendously awesome !

If you look at my signature, you can see we have almost reached the 3000 $ !! =>Oups 'Edited' => 3007$ collected  :yahoo:
Continue like this and soon dady Unity3D(http://unity3d.com/) will get some nice bucks from the French Pinball Team  :lusty:

PinMAME? We don't need no steenking PinMAME - I'll be churning out original builds right from the off. :)

When original games do become supported, what scripting language is intended for use? Will it be close to the VBScript we're using now on Visual Pinball?

love what has happened with this project, I just can't stand my flipper lag.  I have no lag in fx2, pinball arcade, vp, fp, just unit3d.  I havde prerendered frames set to 1 (which fixed fx2, and pa).  Win7x64 with 660ti card.  Any other suggestions?

I am thinking that high speed counter could be placed on a table and automatically flip a flipper at a certain time and record with a camera and see when the flipper actually gets flipped could prove my point.  Does this make sense?

Finally had a chance to give this alpha build a test.

I like where this is going. Great work so far.

Couple of quick questions.

When I am using the menu on the right side of the screen that has all the settings, the mouse pointer always has to be about 1/4" higher up to click buttons and move sliders. If I put the pointer right on the slider or button it will not do anything. Anyone else have this problem?

And lastly, why is the flipper area in Scared stiff so dark? Had to really crank up the light to even begin to see them. lol

Indeed, mouse decay is a PITA, coming from bad Win32 / Unity trick we use for "fake full screen"=> doesn't happen in RealFullscreen or window mode :S.

To get the red handles back, delete the Config/cab_calibration.xml file: this will reset calibration and you will be able to get handles back => TODO list: correct visual bug and add a "reset" button...

For SS, lol: my guess is that you don't have enough real pixel lights on... sorry about that! :)

Have you tried to uncheck the complex flippers ?

I can't remeber if you tested it ?

Just out if curiosity, do you think we can further optimize the graphics engine? I can't get over 30 fps in cab mode and ball is not smooth. I really love what your guys are doing and hope your project continues to flurish.

Thanks guys.

Glad to know the mouse pointer thing is being looked into.

My config folder does not contain cab_calibration.xml. Perhaps a reinstall of the entire program is in order to get the red handles back.

The only way to see the flippers like they should be in Scared Stiff, is turn the main light intensity up to around the maximum. However this makes the pinball itself look like crap.

I have the pixel light count slider all the way up, but it does not seem to do anything that I can see at all. Table looks the same all the way down as it does all the way up.

You guys are great with the fast responses. :)

And for the loop, i've managed to do it using the "debug shot" but not while playing.

Sorry, no Pacman here (yet). But who knows! ;) I'm not doing much playfields or backglasses because I'm a perfectionist and therefore I need half an eternaty to finish one... ;)

Play the VP version of qbert a little bit - the looping shots work perfect there (maybe a litte bit too easy)!

Thanks! Nope, playing hockey, coding and spent some time wit hmy GF... Oh, also answering VPF ;).

Just out if curiosity, do you think we can further optimize the graphics engine? I can't get over 30 fps in cab mode and ball is not smooth. I really love what your guys are doing and hope your project continues to flurish.

I think there is some more room for optimization, but to be honest, this is not the main concern for now... sorry!

Thanks guys.

Oups, my mistake: it is "CabCalibration.xml" not "cab_calibration.xml". If you d'ont have such a file, it is because you have fresh install and you should see handles. Have clicked on "Cab Calibration" button (sorry for dumb question...).

Hi,

Great work guys, really impressed.

Flipper lag - I had the same issue, I disabled vsync in the options menu in unit3d pinball and I think it's fixed the issue. Let me know if this does it for you.

Cheers
