Sorry, guys, I've been VERY busy the last few weeks and forgot about making last call. The sale price ran for over a month!

The price, as it was, was a loser, since I'm now paying someone to help with shipping. I can't do any better. It's well worth it!

As for the time, I have another batch going out tomorrow and Saturday, and more coming next week. I'm doing everything I can up keep up!

  This thing looks pretty incredible. The nanotech being complete crap is one of the reasons I stepped away from my VP machine for months. This would definitely bring me back. Are you still offering a discount for those that bought the nano tech kit and do not need another plunger assembly? If so how do we go about placing an order ? Thanks !

Absolutely. The easiest method is simply placing your order, leave a note in the buyer's notes you don't need the plunger, and I'll refund you the difference.

I took today off work to get some time in routing and fitting the monitor and buttons into the pinball cabinet.  I opened up my virtuapin plunger kit and I see all the parts.  The quick setup guide seems straight forward except for one part, I am not following you when you describe where to mount the controller box.  I understand what you are saying when you describe the top of the box mounted facing down toward the bottom of the cabinet, but if someone can put up a picture of where in their actual cabinet they mounted this thing, that would help me A LOT.  Right now I'm considering just Velcro-ing it to the bottom of the playfield monitor.

 

The other question I have is probably a dumb one, I've got Zebulons controller board, and the ipac, now this virtuapin kit.  Haven't hooked any of them up yet, should I use all 3?  Should I skip the ipac and just try to wire the virtuapin kit into the controller board?  What would you do?

What I would do (and what I am going to do at my cab build) is only using the virtuapin kit as a plunger and use the ipac for the buttons.

I said Ipac but I think I meant LEDWiz.  Actually I think I have an Ipac, an LEDWiz, AND now the board on the new plunger so I probably have way more options than I need.

 

Noah or someone that has used one of these already, can you post a picture of where you mounted it?

Besides more inputs (iPac) would there be an advantage to using an iPac over the virtuapin encoder? Speed?

Since there's more than enough outputs, I wouldn't see a need for an ipac. From my experiences and others' feedback, the response times are lightning fast. Much faster than the Nanotech kit.

For those of you waiting on kits, they're coming. The manufacturer has been slower than advertised to produce. We're working on it.

As for mounting, I've mounted them to the bottom of the cabs, both in front and a foot back, and have had great results.

There is one advantage to using the iPac. Although there are more than ample enough buttons, many don't want too many buttons on the cab for all the function they need so they rely on the iPad's ability to "shift" keys. That in no way negates this board, I just use an iPac as well, no big deal but the shifting option is very convenient.

No, sorry. The Pinball Wizard controller is still a Nanotech product.

 

On a side note, anyone who's ordered one recently, they will be going out this week.
