For those with ledwiz, to avoid the crash with the gun, just change the name of the entry for T2 in the ledcontrol.ini to something unrelated and the issue (and fancy lights, motors, etc) will go away. No need to change the core.vbs file to the original version.
Don't pm or expect an answer from me here ... the links above are my contacts.
I know so much about so little that I could teach you all there is to know about nothing......

Wow! Just wow! Amazing work. I showed the other guys at work and they were also blown away. Plays very smooth for me at 1920x1080 with only a little stutter when lots of lights going at once. One of my guys at work thought the entire playfield was a photo as it was so photo realistiic. My faves are the pop bumper animations and the transparent ramp. It just looks so real.
Thank you to all concerned in making this table.

Great table, looks really nice.
I disabled the LEDs for it and found it played a lot smoother on my machine.
Not sure if you could disable the solenoid for the gun, I also get the crash with LEDWIZ when the gun is ready to fire.
I'm not sure which switch the gun uses though, maybe wecould jsut remove that switch and not need to disable all the LEDWIZ settings?

I'm still at work now, but tonight I will opened the others FS tables of T2 and see what has been used for the gun, since they work fine with LEDWIZ. Hopefully I can fix that.

I think he means instead of disabling ledwiz support completely, just either remove the t2 line form your ledcontrol.ini or rename it so it doesn't get used.

Great release Tipoto!!
Congrats!
Thank you for all the work you put in to recreating this table. It looks and plays absolutely stunning. I have an idea of how many hours you put in to this and I really can't thank you enough. That also goes for the rest of the table devs also. Without you guys, we would have nothing to play and our little VP hobby would be no more!
For me, the table plays very close to the real T2 tables that I have played (and I have played many). I do find the table to be kind of easy, but on almost every real T2 I have played I put in 50 cents to start and I can play for hours on end, usually leaving the game with many credits in it when I finally call it quits. T2 in general is without a doubt not the most challenging pin out there. This is one of the main reasons I never bought a real one even though I have been a big fan of the pin.
Groni must be a pinball master to be able to get 577 million on one ball though! I've played this thing 100s of times and have only reached that score on a full game! (Well without using the built in training mode lol) I bet that nudging bug (allows you to nudge without tilting) in that newer VBS that he is using greatly contributed to that score though.
I'll admit, even tho it is great that the table is finally released, I'm going to miss checking my inbox each day for the next beta version to test out! It's been fun!

Ahahah... Thank you! I had a great time working with you and BFG_Brutal, I'm going to miss sending you BETAs and waiting exited for the feedback
For the impressive score of Groni with one ball, also I'm sure he has another core.vbs and the nudge was completely modified compared to what I did. I worked with the version 3.16, if I'm correct it's the version we have with the normal installation of VP rght? Or maybe he he used the Training Mode and since he is good with photoshop, then he erased the text ahahah.
I'm kidding Groni, I know the table is too easy to play, but I don't want to make it too hard either because I know that some people like the friendly gameplay as well (especially the kids) ^^. I loved the comment earlier in the thread (I don't remember the name) saying that he wanted to keep the original table for his kid, it was super cute

Hi Tipoto,
I'm really glad I finally found some time to play this beauty, and WOW.....the chrome is hurting my eyes so shiny
I play this on a Win7 32 bits system with a quadcore i7 860 2.8 GHz, 4GB RAM, and a HD 5770 with 1 GB. When I use VP on max video settings I do get quite some stutter with payback time and some light stutter with multiball. Have yet to play around with the settings to see if I can get it all smooth, but I'm hopeful I'll get there. All is well graphical except for some strange line that runs vertically over the bigger T2 head at the top of the table. I'll read the rest of the thread to see if somebody came up with the same glitch, otherwise I'll supply a screenshot.
As for gameplay: I was pretty good at the real life machine back in my college days, but it hands me my @ss right now....
I still have to crack 50M. I fancy myself an average to good scorer on VP tables so reading that Groni got to 500M on one ball makes me feel very modest about my own prowess. If it gets even more difficult I'll may have to throw in the towel....
Anyway, I don't object to the physics feel it has right now, although it does makes you work hard for the ramps. The biggest issue I have with the table at this moment is that I don't like the high reactivity of the slingshots, they fire at the slightest touch. I don't remember that from the table I played live, but I may be mistaken. Could you take a look into that? I love the way the cannon accelerates slightly when it turns, I love details like that!
Great work and I really look forward to the next project,
Slam23
PS: +1 to the suggestion you tackle Indy '93 next, that would be totally awesome!

I'm gonna take a look at slingshot, but if I want to make the table harder, I should increase even more the reactivity instead... But I will see what I can do
For the glitch, are you playing on 1920 X 1080? If so, yes, a screenshot could help
Thanks for the feedback, it's the good time for that now.
Also, for the others people having the cannon issue, I will investigate again tonight, but it's not easy to fix a bug without having the bug :/
I always make the Slingshots a bit less sensitive by putting the hit threshold to a higher value. So when a ball slides down the sling it doesn´t fire. No Slingshot are so sensetive in real machines that they fire on the lightest touch. So this would be an improovement. Now you think you have to make all the settings harder just to make the table more tough, but keep an eye on the realism and look out that it didn´t turn the opposite way by turning unrealistic. As long as you build or set along real values the table automaticly gets harder and the level of realism stays the same. Thats the way I do tables. I do not make complete settings to feel real, i adjust every single object with lots of time to react like a real machine do. If you do this with every object, the result have to be a realistic table. Many Authors just make compressed Physics by not keeping an eye on every objects values.
My current VPX Tables I am working on:
Attack from Mars/Finished - The Walking Dead Pro/90% - The Lord of the Rings/75% - Family Guy/90% - The Simpsons Pinball Party/15%

It's what I did, I spent hours and hours on the gameplay, with back and forward with the testers. The plastic objects doesn't have the same values than the rubbers ones or the metallic ones and each single bumper or slingshot or target has been thought (force, elasticity, reactivity). Sometime I have the feeling you think that I don't care about the gameplay, but I do care! Even the nudge, actually I took the value of Grogar and I reduce them, except the center because it's alway easier to push the table than pull to the left or right. I have the chance to have a real pinball at work (Shrek) and I checked regularly how everything works, to reproduce that on the T2. I would love to have a real T2 close to my house to test it and adjust my mistakes.

I agree that the table is a little easy.
But the graphics are far the best i ever saw in VP. Those lights and ramps are simply perfect! (What is future pinball? Heh)

I agree, graphics are top notch, but FP has been doing lighting & graphics like this for more than a few years. Glad to see VP finally catch up, in that department. Played more of this tonight, i think table plays fine the way it is, but won't complain if you update it. Any way possible this table could render correctly in lesser resolutions, & why 1080 dependency?
uh, no FP hasn't been doing graphics quite like this. Sorry, you need to play more.
Ha Ha, opinions. I play plenty from both sides. Just aweful funny vp couldn't hold a candle stick on graphics before this table (& maybe a few others before it) Like i said, glad to see vp catch up. In this case, surpass.

This will be flame in one way or another i see now :/
I'm at Groni's side about this. I don't think its the right topic to compare VP and FP but it looks it must be...
About VP, I enjoy all table, i see beauty in all FS HD table from ALL author.
"Just aweful funny vp couldn't hold a candle stick on graphics before this table"
I feel this line have lack of respect...I prefer the Visual Pinball graphics, simply looks much cleaner/more nice for me(those FP lights are just not my world that's all).
About Physics all who played real pinballs since years feels that FP physics is far worse compared the Visual Pinball.
But everybody have their favourites, so just enjoy your program and play your tables

I totally agree, vp physics are off the chain. I respect vp & it's authors, use the program everyday. Rated 80% of the stuff on this site & pbn (least i can do) So big thanks to all involved.
I've always liked vp's cartoon like graphics on alot of tables & think this is a big step forward. Just don't like seeing some of the FP comments, which is a great program in it's own right. Off to play few more rounds on T2....did i mention i love this table?

I honestly don't see the big deal with comparing it to FP(should be taken as a compliment in some ways) seeing as FP is the more advanced program in the graphical department but that's to be expected, VP is an older dated program after all. That being said VP can still be beautiful PD & Scapino proved that back in the VP 7&8 days and since the intro of alpha transparency has taken a huge leap in other author tables like JP's, GRONI'S etc... Almost every VP table released now is stunning! I just think that VP could due with an overhaul so that tables can look like this with minimal effort from the respected author and still be angle independent and thus highly customizable and most importantly playable by all users 4:3, WS or FS. Just don't mess with the physics, VP RULES there.

I'm no moderator but I still would like to see the old VP vs FP discussion moved to another thread. It's a fascinating discussion but history has proven that it always ends badly. I would like to concentrate on Tipoto's table here. Is that alright with you guys? Just asking...

UPDATE 1.01
- New physics
- Also I tried something to make the gun compatible with LEDWIZ, but I have no idea if it will work.
The gun is the tricky part of this table in the script and the communication between VP and VPinMame is not my strongest point
