I know that with his last update, ANDROID seperated the FS table scores from the 4:3 scores for his high score pdf files, if that is what you were referring to.
I would think that the score between different versions of a table SHOULD be seperate as well, especially if there are different versions from different authors. Now different versions of a table from the same author COULD be combined as gameplay from an author should not differ from different versions of a table.
We indeed already talked about seperating FS and 4:3, and I'm all for that because I think even if the tables are the same version from the same author, they play differently and pose a different challenge. On a sidenote I think that FS is more tough because of the greater visual field that you have to check, this is especially true in multiball situations and this offsets the boon you get in having a clearer view of the playfield. I'm only a bit sad that not a lot of people seem to play FS at this moment. Different author versions are really different in a lot of cases, so there should be a seperation also, no question. With different versions of the table by the same author: that's a tricky thing because it all depends on how much the changes from one version to another affect gameplay. If it's more a graphical upgrade then it's not a problem, if the author changes physics parameters like slope or speed, then it's another discussion. I think we should have concensus amongst the regular players of that table if the table is not too different from a previous version. Offcourse the tournament system that Noah would like to build into the website will solve some problems by using locked tables and deciding which tables and versions are "official". That may spark a controversy or two but it may be the best system to tackle this problem. In the mean time we should encourage more players to join the HS races! I will better my life and start posting some scores again when I have finished Two Worlds 2, the main reason that keeps me away from playing pinball,
