Hey all, 

 

Has anyone ever seen/done a  Sonic or Sonic Spinball themed cab? 

Theres SO MUCH pinball themed artwork out there for Sonic. 

I was thinking with nice blue metallic powder coated trim..... Could be awesome.

Geertjan, I am also working on a cabinet of my own, but finding it difficult to find high quality images to use. Where did you find yours? Are they 96dpi or higher?

I used backglass images mostly. i searched for them on google, and took the highest resolution files i could find.

It looks like the left cabinet psd file is an overflow for the entire cabinet.  Do you have the left one available somewhere?  BTW...this is amazing.

I've seen a black and white version of a collage for back glass and I've seen the file of a side cabinet done in color. Have you ever done the color collage (below) for back glass? I couldn't find if it was a commissioned piece or if you've ever done it. I'm asking because I have a custom back box being made and it would be perfect for it. Thanks in advance.

My friends at Buy Stuff Store http://buystuffstore.ca are printing out my custom back box artwork for me and applying to my new back box they are making for me.

Wow, really great work here, Stuzza.

 

After looking for a retirement project, (I retired last Tuesday...yippee!) I decided a Virtual Pinball machine would be just the thing. I started out as a cabinetmaker back in the late 70s, then switched to contruction, as no one wants to pay for fine cabinetry anymore. They all want Ikea type crap. From there I enlisted in the Army, 1980-1991, learning electronics. Later I worked for a defense contractor on various military communications and weapons systems supporting our warfighters around the world. (Support Engineer)

 

Pinball seems like a fine way to combine my skills.

 

I'd like to use your Marvball artwork on my Vpin cabinet. PM sent.
