This is one of the best recreations ever! Nicely done!

 

I wanted to see if AI could increase the resolution of the old image, so I ran it through a site and it did a pretty good job! I then brought it into Photoshop and output a 1920x1080 image. :)

Hi, I am new to this, but I hope this is useful. Love the table! Thanks

I fixed a few wrong calls to sounds, e.g. I noticed the iconic blackhole and hyperspace sound missing.

Here the changes with the correct sound files names:

Sub BlackHole_Hit
    PlaySoundAt "sc_blackhole", BlackHole
 
Sub HyperSpaceHole_Hit
    PlaySoundAt "sc_14", HyperSpaceHole
 
There are more missing. e.g. the skillshot and leaving the Hyperspace.
There are some sc_1-17 sound files in the sound manager, some that never got called, and this is where I found e.g. the hyperspace sound.
 
Also the hyperspace kicker is too weak. Where do I learn to adjust this? (increasing some values did nothing)

4.3 Updated 1.11.2023
- Updated physics to my Rev3. Including physics materials, flippers and slingshot shapes.
- Updated LUT images, 10 shades and 10 warmer shades.

I saw a obj of a fake Space Cadet pinball table on the internet. Looks different. Its a cabinet version. :)

I'm finding an issue with this table and the latest 10.8 Beta (1825) where the DOF is 90% not working. I get no lights, no flipper sounds, barely any SSF I can hear but occasionally a slingshot will kick off a solenoid and the ball loader kicks just nothing else. Only this table I seem to find an issue, tested prob 50+ others and all seem to be fine. Any ideas what this case may be?

Outhere added the DOF commands to the table, so maybe you have an older version?

 

Also, if it works with VPX7, then it should work too with VPX8. Remember to use the VPX8 32 bits version, unless you have updated to 64 all the other programs too.

If i load the table and view script, if i save the script without modification, the table not loaded after that in cabinet mode.

Your FlexDMD is out of date and you are using VPX 10.8

You need to update flexDMD to this version

Love this table, bringing to life those nostalgic early days of Win95.

One seeming bug though; I cannot seem to get this table to tilt, at least in 10.8, no matter what I do... Even slamming it around, can't even trigger a warning.

I guess you have a mechanical tilt, so you may need to add a line, which I'll add in my next update for VPX8 :) 

 

Find the lines, at line 289, and add a fourth line:

 

        If keycode = LeftTiltKey Then CheckTilt 'only check the tilt during game
        If keycode = RightTiltKey Then CheckTilt
        If keycode = CenterTiltKey Then CheckTilt
        If keycode = MechanicalTilt Then Tilt = 16:CheckTilt
 
and then the tilt may work for you.

If you want warnings then you may remove the tilt = 16, like this:

 

If keycode = MechanicalTilt Then CheckTilt

Managed to get two balls in the kickback during a multiball, resulting in this unfortunate situation. It's a crying shame, since I'm sure this was my highest score yet...

Remember that the table is based on the game by Cinematronis and published by Maxis. The rules are a little different than the Windows 95 version.

Here it is a video explaining the rules, including the multiball:

I'm not a professional programmer, so I may have made some errors when writing the rules in the script :) But I tried to replicate those rules as seen in the video :) I added extra voices though :)
