I think the pinballx plugin should still work...but hasn't got the newer roms in it
Grandslam is not supported in the online leaderboard
But pinemhi can show the scores from gransls4 rom (ofline hiscores from the table)

Not even sure how their plugin is supposed to work?
no documentation

How or where can you see offline scores?

Select the information page in the pinballx menu there you can see hiscores from the rom
I think you can find more in the pinballx forum regarding the plugin system.
But again i haven't updated the pinemhi leaderboard plugin...so i wouldn't even try using it....standalone is much much better :)

PinballX calls the pinemhi.exe on table exit to gather local/offline high score info (i think all the main front ends use it). That is the copy of pinemhi.exe in your PinballX folder.

The older plugin version of the leaderboard app (https://www.gameex.i...&comment=179673) would be in the the Pinballx\plugins folder .

You can display the offline high scores in PinballX by selecting the table and viewing the information screen, or just have it displayed somewhere else using the stats plugin (https://www.gameex.i...istics-display/)

Ah, i dont have PBX configured to show any of the menus
just show all tables, i dont have enough to worry about categorizing nor forgetting what i have
and 1 button launch

I also dont have any other plugins installed on it
I had the media player one, but i found that if i have it running, it is not sitting there long enough for it to begin playing anything
so i dont even have the tables attract mode enabled, not that they would be exciting anyways as i switched from videos to static
table and backglass screen shots

But yea i see now that it has been gathering those and saving them in the high scores folder.

Probably could replicate that using the newer pinemhi and an exit routine if it does not call it properly on its own, though not sure how useful it would be LOL

Question for DNA
The ROMs that are not supported, yet it extracts the scores
What is the difference between it being able to extract the scores and the leaderboard etc actually being able to support it?
Obviously there is a distinct difference or you would have it doing them all like yesteryear, just curious

Disabled the media player?!... what are you thinking? Lol..to be fair it might be more useful to you when you finish the cab, then you can just have the cab playing music when you're not playing pinball. That's how i use it anyway.

My guess for the leaderboard scores online is they need adding into the backend database and maybe leaderboard.exe too. But if they're working locally then at least we know that they can be added to the online leaderboard one day  :)

Hi scutters,

You are right , it's the whole system behind it and the scores aren't of course the same as the offline scores.
In other words different places in the nvram
I found out that big bang bar doesn't save the score from player 1 in the nvram. Or at least i couldn't find it...but it also doesn't appear when you run the game again in the dmd.
So for that one, it's true that is in the offline scores but can't be added in pinemhi online leaderboard...
But that's the only one till now

Nearly all roms from the more popular manufacturers are included in the offline hiscores btw

Hope this answers your question wiesshund

Well, presently, i do not have a pinball cab, but i do have MAME cabs.
I tend to turn them off when not in use though, i would not foresee me doing a pin cab much different
Dunno, i am just weird like that.

Not to mention, i have a slightly different idea of playing music

BBB is not the only one that that does seem not store the last players score someplace beside volatile work memory
soon as you create new data in that location or kill power, it's gone

Of course for these roms, there is no offline score registered either
PBX doesnt even list them as being played in the high scores lists

You can snoop it from MAME though.
Pain in the butt to figure each rom out, as they dont save the info in any standardized location, even in what appears to be the same base hardware controller
seems to be a thing in a number of Somebody do Brasil type machines

Hi DNA,

Very small bug with the weekly leaderboard webpage, the rom name is sometimes swapped between rows. At the moment it shows me as using sman_261, which i definitely didn't (i suspect that was actually dbeedle). I'm only mentioning the bug in case occasionally it affects other cells, if it is just the rom name then i don't suppose it really matters.

If it swaps his score for mine, i'm ok with a few flaws

Thanks scutters for reporting this. I'll take a look

It's probably only the romname , your highscore should be safe :)

Issue has been fixed

Question for DNA,

Can the sizing options for the popups have a set/minimum size option?

I've got the popups on an apron screen (800*480) and would like the popups to fill the screen (to cover a background image). The background image is from the front end, for supported games it'd be cool if the auto on feature could fill that screen over the front ends image (for supported tables) to look neater. I could hide the image on launch for supported tables, but it would mean i'd need to know all the supported games/roms and then edit each table entry.

I've tried tweaking the x/y and offset values and can't seem to get a set size at the moment. Not sure if it should be possible with the current version or not.

Hi scutters,
It's not possible at the moment.
I'll see if i can come up with something.
Probably will be a popup with nothing in it and you can set it in the ini file....position x and y and x-size and y-size
And on top of that come the other popups...easiest way i think
