Yeah the raised table surface may be the issue for the plunger, haven't tried anything the test this out. For under-the-playfield mini playfields you have to make them at 0 units height, unless negative numbers are supported on this, I used the Elektra (praying for a VP9 recreated version of this biggrin.gif ) table as a reference on the design for my table.
The plunger looks good and the "hole" is shaped like a bullet (nice touch!). If you are finished with the modding for now, I will start work on finishing the detailing on the upper right part of the table and then set the upper mini playfield in place and also put in the kickers under the ramps. May also get a cover for the multiball area put in place and once I get the screenshots captured, I may implement one on the multiball cover.
I will also get the vertical kicker started using your advice on it and get a starting template into place and work on it from there. I am really getting excited about this table and can't wait to get it to the finish line! biggrin.gif

]for a use of a vuk for your table use this just name the kicker, kicker1, I am on my girlfriends computer but VP9 is corrupted and isn't showing up any names of playfield objects, nor is it saving them. so rename the kicker to kicker1 and you're good to go place it anywhere in your table and rotate the entire thing if need be. kicker 6 is the kicker where the ball WAS... it is going to be recreated in kicker1 but you can rename both of them for your table and add any score you see fit kicker 6 is the kicker on the left kicker1 is the one under that ramp the ramp angles the ball forward, so it travels down a ramp or table and doesn't just hit the glass and drop back down. hope this helps

Sub Kicker6_Hit()

PlaySound" "

Kicker6.TimerInterval = 4000
'3000 = 1 second put in a longer time for an added sound clip
Kicker6.DestroyBall

Kicker6.TimerEnabled=true

End Sub

Sub Kicker6_Timer()

Kicker1.CreateBall'

Kicker1.Kick 0,20,1.5 '1.5 is PI

Kicker6.TimerEnabled=false

PlaySound " "

AddScore 100

End Sub

Faralos is helping me on some graphical and scripting on the table. After he finishes on a certain part and sends me the result I will be working to finish the playfield design and will start incorporating sounds into the table.

Almost forgot, I had computer issues that kept me out of the loop for a couple of weeks so I wouldn't have been able to work on anything. biggrin.gif

No worries faralos! I know you are working on other pinball projects so time isn't much of a concern for me. biggrin.gif

Started working on my second table while Faralos is working on other projects ( I told him he can put my table on the back burner for the time being (he's been helping me with the Hogan's Heroes table)). Here's a screenshot of progress so far on my second table:

I didn't know you already finshed the modding for the table. biggrin.gif

I do need you to send me the current table, I lost my copy when I upgraded my computer (thought I had saved the table beforehand).

from what I know he is now working on the graphics part of it. I haven't heard from him, so I guess he is doing ok with it! Hopefully today he'll post about it and you will know more...

Thanks to Bob5453 (plastics info and helpful detailed explanations of wtiger's ID4 plastics tutorials) I have been making faster progress with my table as far as the aesthetics goes.

Had to think awhile to see what kind of decor to use for the apron. Decided on a composite group pic of all the main characters of the show. I now just need to figure out how to make this work. Using the layers function on GIMP perhaps?

well you could just use a decal or put them on as wall on top of the apron or better yet make drop walls and put each pic on a wall to pop up maybe when a certain target is hit or at the start of the game, ala CaveGal I used walls that at first hid the pics bu twhen you hit certain things on the table the top walls dropped to reveal the pics! maybe you can try that!

Used the plastics method and made one pic out of the main cast members. I didn't have to use layers for the composite pic. Used seperate walls when I "applied" the "decal" work on each cast member.

Did a little more adjusting on the playfield gameplay-wise. Been still having way too many cheap drains. Shortened the main flippers by 5 units each and pushed the post up closer to the flippers. Increased the elasticity on the post rubbers by the outlanes, the flipper return lanes and the post between the flippers.

again I'll stress that you must be careful in putting swastikas on pins! some countries (germany in particular) outlaw having swastikas on anything! I am unsure what the exact laws are but I know you won' t find anything with a swastika on it anywhere in germany! i don't know if this pertains to freeware tho but maybe you can offer a generic pic for those flags for the people who reside there just in case...wouldn't want you to get in trouble for something as stupid as that...
but glad to see you got thepics up onto the apron! looking good! so when will it be finished?

It is part of the decor because the series has shown it on several occasions. I am not worried about reprisals because the show itself is a satire and not malicious towards the citizens of Germany. My table will remain unlocked when I release it so the flags can be removed (the one authorized mod I will allow anyone to do). biggrin.gif

As far as how soon I will be finished with this table, it will probably take me to the end of June (worse-case scenario) depending on two things: First is when I get my new sound card oirdered and second is if or most likely when I can coerce a good scripter to code the ruleset into the table AFTER I create it (the ruleset that is). biggrin.gif

I will be doing some basic scripting myself as to lessen the work so I am pretty optimistic about getting this project finished relatively soon.
