There's a Doflinx 7.10 ? I searched here and didn't find it. I must have missed something...

 

Can someone point me to 7.10 ... plz ?

 

As @outhere said.  Sorry about that, I got most of the way through loading all the bits needed and then my wife said "time to go", so off to have drinks with friends it was.  Anyway, its the morning after the night before, and I'm loading it now.

Very much appreciate all the work on these. Just one question. Is there a way to turn off the speaker grills on the backglasses that have the speakers on them? My cab (and many other's cab's I'm sure) has real speakers on it so I would greatly prefer not to have the speakers.

This is for the B2S for FX3. that link seems to only cover VP and FP. I don't think you can remove the speaker grill image on these unless someone can tell me otherwise?

If you are actually using a B2S back glass with FX3 then it will get rid of the grill automatically just like it does for VP

With the WMS Hurricane backglass, once the game has started, the disc in the middle disappears and becomes all black?

Hello is there a way to have the grids show up i have a 2 screen setup and most of the backglass don't have excepet bally and williams tables.

As you say, most of the backglasses for FX2 / FX3 other than the Williams ones have been built for a 3 screen setup - sorry.

No specific plans, but always happy for continuous improvement.  If you have some suitable images let me know.

The image for IronMan is an old one.  It is 1920x1080 but was clearly build from something less than that off base Zen imagery.  I will take a look around, the things to consider are:

• Need the correct IremMan version - I believe the suits are "Mark xx" where xx is the number.  Need something close to the game with the triangle on the front and angular helmet.
• The image needs to have enough areas that can be subtly, yet effectively lit.  Images with just IremMan don't give much opportunity for lighting
• I look for something with the title, "IRONMAN" as I'm not graphics person who can insert lettering of the current font, colour and transparency
• All new backglasses I've done are FX version agnostic, so no FX2 or FX3

Well I got to it and made a better IronMan backglass ..... v2.  Its loaded here now.

 

Because this new version has different animations a new IronMan.FX3 file is required.  I just uploaded DOFLinx V7.20 that includes this file.

 

FYI, the original image was 1080p, but clearly upscaled from a crappy low res original.  It was one of my first for FX2.  I think the new one is much crisper and hopefully to everyone's liking. (if not keep using V1 or make your own  )

DDH69 - I set up the new DOFLinx and Iron Man V2 tonight, and it is AWESOME! Thank you SO much. It is 1000x better than the V1 version. Much appreciated!

 

I'm not sure how difficult or time consuming it is for you to build these, but if it is ever possible to get them all upgraded to 1080p, that would be amazing. (I recently upgraded my backglass to 1080p, and my playfield to 4k - this makes such a big difference)

@toxicgoblin, thanks for the feedback and suggestions.  I get really bored doing the backglasses, so I tend to avoid them.  Having said that, I am a perfectionist who also loves the ability for us to all get better pinball artefacts.  So, if IronMan was the worst, and its done, what is the next worst?  I'll take these one at time

I created the current missing backglasses for FX3. Nothing fancy (no lights etc) but all in 1920x1080. Majority of the artwork comes from ZEN. If I get my hands on the right lamp triggers (hint DDH69 ) for these tables I may add some basic lights.

 

But for now please feel free to use these non-official backglasses .

 

Install notes: just download the zip file from the mega link below and extract them in your FX3_B2S directory. I checked them and they all work.
