Notated this though:
* For every shot except when a mystery award is being given, you can press the left and right flippers buttons simultaneously to skip any animation and keep game play moving. While I don't blame people for not realizing you can skip the animations, at least for me it makes a huge difference in terms of the games enjoyability

Yes "flipper skip" has been around since the way early 90's in most machines. I remember Creature from the Black Lagoon had it, as well as a whole bunch of other games. Some of the newer Sterns (Spiderman) left the feature out, and fans complained a whole lot. Forcing a player to sit on his hands while some animation plays on a DMD interrupts the flow, so this feature is appreciated by most - giving them the option to either wait, or hit a flipper to bypass it.

As for your upper playfield - you only have 3 basic shots, so it's not supposed to be a wild frenzy - decide if you want the tv, the lock standups, or the lock itself, time your shot, and get the ball there. wink.gif In some cases it is actually better strategy to simply let the ball drain to make a main playfield shot.

This tabe is fantastic recreation.
However i dont get many have the table as favourite
the miniplayfield is just very boring and the table has
lack of flow. Anyone tell?

It's the best table ever made because of the endless ruleset and challenge, not because of the way the ball moves about the table.
Not to mention it's pretty much the only table that lets you stack ANYTHING with EVERYTHING.

I think either Twilight Zone or Lord of the Rings, or even The Addams Family would be the best tables ever made. Simpsons Party still is a good game.

Most games nowadays let you stack multiple modes and/or multiballs. I know Family Guy, Spiderman, TZ, LOTR, etc do.

Thanks a lot guys for opinions and tip.
I am sure the table deserves it.

This table looks really great, but it's almost unplayable on my laptop (lagging ball, even more lagging when you lit anything).

As the other tables work fine (or much better), is there anything I need to disable on this one ?

My laptop : P8400 (dual core) & Nvidia 9300M GS, 3Go
the other tables : T2, Medieval Madness, Adams Family, Flintstones, Back to the future, Whirwind, and more...
video options : 1024*768*16, fullscreen, max texture = 1024, no Hardware Device rendering

Thx

Nevermind, HD render was unchecked, I checked it back & it works now. No idea how it was unchecked though.

And the table is fantastic !

If you open up the table code you can do a search for the ROM its calling to use. Usually how I do it.

This should be the rom to use for this table:

4 meg video card? You are kidding, aren't you? I hope you meant 64 meg otherwise how could you do ANYTHING on that desktop with such an old video card? Even so, with a 64 meg video card you probably would only be able to run VP8 tables efficiently.

For those who are suffering from the lost ball syndrome in the Alien Invasion mode:
I think I might have found the cause of, and solution to, all life's problems ;)

Simply put, the location of the switch #44 is off - too far up in the right "Otto"
loop to sense a ball stuck behind the upper-right saucer (sw24) if it is already
"occupied".

Solution: adjust the size and position of the trigger object sw44, so that it sits
right next to and above the said saucer (the kicker object sw24). Now the game
should properly sense any ball "jammed" behind the saucer, and will juggle the first
ball out when the second ball comes in.

This glitch seems to go way back - all the way to the v8 implementation of TSPP,
down to every modded table I have ever seen. I don't know if this is the right place
to post report, but hey ;)
