The train does not touch the overhead wiring. Looks strange somewhat.

Sheltemke, thanks for the great table! I've been playing version 1.3 for the last few days and it looks great! I have one issue to report, however. I am frequently getting the ball stuck under the left ramp, below the bumpers:

cc_stuck_ball.png

Is anyone else experiencing this?

BTW, wall172 uncheck "Side Visible" and the line will go away.

Not sure what this wall is for but I could not find any problems with unchecking the make visible.

I too, have the problem of the ball getting stuck every time.

Fixed (i hope) the stuck under left bumber, and fixed the 2 grey wallside wall172 and wall55(if i remember correctly) on "tube"ramp.

Uploading 1.31

sorry for the delay guys. :(

I so love that western / train age...

I collected an lcd game, any of you remember this guys?

bankman.jpg

Mine is almost as nice condition as this one.

Hi,

I love this update, it looks and plays great !

I am having a couple of problems:

1. multiball issues on goldmine multiball. Sometimes the balls get stuck and I get multiple balls piling up on the plunger.

2. Lost balls. Machine goes through check and tried to find / eject balls but never finds any, and the game is just stuck looping forever trying to eject balls that it can't find.

thank you

Everything seems to be working fine now.  No problems at all.  I tried to get the ball to stick and it would not.  Thanks for all your hard work, this is one sweet table!

I have not seen that LCD game, anyway you could post a screen shot of it?   I'm with you on the old steam locomotives.  I wanted to get my son an electric train set but all I could find for reasonable amount of money was the modern Diesel engine sets.  I guess nobody wants the old style any more.

Never mind I found it. :) http://youtu.be/RUL3T7PD-ws

Interesting not happening here.

Try to delete the nvram file and report me if you still have those problems please.

Thank you.

I'm having problems with this table, it crashes VP as soon as I try to load it (9.1).  Any clues as to what might be happening?  Also I tried the earlier release (1.06) and it loaded up but nothing happened. Coin drop sound was there but that's it.

Couldn't tell you, VP crashes while it's trying to open the table. In other words as soon as I select the .vpt file, the program crashes out.

Ok I updated VP to 9.9 and the table loads etc and all was good in VP but I'm getting a Hyperpin error saying it can't find the table.  The xml file has the name right (the same as the file) but the path it's looking for seems a bit off...

C:/Visual Pinball/Tables//cactus.canyon.vpt.fpt

Note the double // in the path and also the .vpt.fpt

What's with the .fpt extension after the .vpt?  It's definitely right in the xml, is there something in the script that is throwing this up?  Also, what's with the double // in the path?

Other tables are launching fine.

Fpt is future pinball. You sure you didn't add it in as a future pinball table? What has the fpt anyway? The file name? An error message?

That's what is puzzling, I don't have Future Pinball so I have no idea why HP is throwing this error.  Check out the pic (link) below for the error, you'll see the double extension as well as the double \\ in the path.

I just figured it out this morning and was just about to post when you beat me to it ;)

I had left the .vpt extension in the table name by mistake and didn't notice it despite staring right at it lol.  All good now and it's a great table!

Is there anyone out there who can provide me with some really good "Mountain" pics (the plastic that's above the Keep Out sign) or lots of Bart pics?  I'm looking to add primitives (starting with just myself, but if others are interest I'll see if Sheltemke will want it), more than just a box with a picture on it.  I've already got something in place; I've also got a simple part primitive that moves more smoothly.

If there's anyway to get a straight top-down shot, and if I can ask too much a straight side shot from each side, that'd be awesome.  What would be the incredible would be if you could the texture from the game itself.

Guys if I understand correctly, we need to be careful here. It's one thing to use pics from the net, but taking pics from a commercial licensed vendor could be seen in a negative light by Farsight, the maker of The Pinball Arcade. I know there are good intentions here, I want better art too but we have to be careful here (if I understood your post correctly)

No, you're absolutely right.  I'm just such an "open" person, these types of things always catch me off guard.  When I worked at Disney World, a fellow cast member always liked to tell the story that, technically, legally speaking, anyone who takes pictures while at Disney, those pics belong to Disney.  Especially if you ever get back stage photos like if a ride breaks down.
