Ahh, yes, I see it now.

You have to remember that I can't see too well. Probably missed it the first time.

Still wanted to post it though. I don't know if your score was on version 1.0.0 or 1.0.1, since you didn't state it in your post (which is what ANDROID wants for his high score pdfs).

You do not need to post the nvram....just post a screenshot showing your high score. Just provide the following information with the screenshot (Thanks ANDROID for clarifying the criteria):

Table Name
Author
VP Version
Table Version
Score
The initials you used when you entered them for the high score

That's all that is needed.

First, at the end of the game during attract mode, when your score is being displayed, press the Print Screen button (you may have to hold the Alt key when you press that key)

Next, open up MS Paint. Do a CTRL-V to paste that screen capture into Paint.

Save the image in Paint (I usually save it as a jpg) Give it a name that you can easily recognize (also remember where you save the image)

Now, come back to this website, then in the grey bar at the top of the page, click on "IMGED-Image Hosting". This will open up a new window to the image host for this site.

Click browse button to select the image you saved on your system.

When the path appears in the box on the page, click the upload button.

After the image has been uploaded, copy the path that says "Thumbnail Path for Forums" (or something similar to that)

Then, paste the path into a new post, along with the information I listed a few posts back.

Its that easy!

if you still are unsure on how to do this, post again.

I had better scores on the real table, but then on the real table I played I had a bad kicker solenoid and if you flipped the flippers while the ball was in the kicker, the ball would not kick out and fall back into the kicker to make each of the letters for SUPER (3000 points per letter on the table I played) several times over.

That's not a bad kicker solenoid, that's a driver board issue; it was subsequently fixed smile.gif

Also, the big thing about getting SUPER was that it awarded [originally] 2 replays...

Another way to upload the image is browse to the folder you saved the picture open it and then hit upload image in the browse feature just below the ADD REPLY button after the last post. Dont use the quick replay or the browse for picture option isn't available in the quick version. My desktop and vp is 1024x786 32bit and the average image in IRFANVIEW/freeware picture viewer. is 430k the upload max is 512k. IF the image is too large than a smaller resize will work. Don't make it too small, so I/we can still read it. dblthumb.gif If you have more than one screenshot and don't feel like making them smaller than 400k,if you post them right away under a new post using a letter in the text or period, you can upload the pictures and it will usually just add it to the previous post, making you image files greater than .512!!!! You can then edit the post and remove the letter or period in the text portion. :dblthumb

Every three weeks or so, I'll update the pdf's to reflect everyones High Scores, even if they are not 1st place scrores only posts, like Sabbat's High Score list. All scores are welcome!!

Tomcat Leader: You won't see anything popping up in Windows XP and I am not sure about Win 7. just hit the button to the right of F Lock, or if you dont have a F Lock key than it is to the right of F12/print button. On my keyboard it is called
PrtScr
SysRq <<<------ just hit this button, NOT ALT PrtScrSysRq. Open your picture viewer. Like I said, I use irfanview/freeware. Inside ifranview click on EDIT and then Paste. there should be the image of your tabletop and high score. You will have to save it as: ie...F-14VP9HighScore/name it and create a folder. I just put it in documents. You can direct it towards VPM/HighScoreScreenShots or whatever folder name you want to create.

There is no picture on the desktop or any program opening, when you hit PrtScrSysRq. It is a background thing called Clipboard. You can Google/Search for how to have Clipboard available as a menu program, but it is not necessary. You will still need a picture viewer. When you have your picture saved, right click that picture file and check its size. if its under 512k then you are ready to upload. Check out my previous post in about the easy way, to upload the picture.

DO THIS FIRST::

To test your Print screen: Don't open VP/VPM just yet!!! Open up any folder/program and window size it so the rest of your desktop is showing and the box of your windowed program/file. Hit your PrtScrSysRq button. Open up Picture Viewer/Irfanview/whatever. Under menu tabs click on EDIT. Your PASTE row/option should be Bold/Available and it will take your Desktop picture with the windowed program/box/rectangle whatever you opened and create a picture you can save or view later(See my previous post). You then can minimize it and see your regular desktop. Maximise it and see the picture of the folder you opened!!. PrtScrSysRq is a Dos program, works in the background and will take screenshots of anything displayed while windows is opened including MsDosPrompt options like Run: cmd, ipconfig, regedit etc etc. ....It is very convenient. If that is working then, try it after your High Score game, by hitting the same PrtScrSysRq button. Closing or exiting out of VP and opening your Picture Viewer and pasteing it as before.
I hope this helps without seeming too redundant!!
ANDROID/Andy

I use a quick and free little program called MWSnap that's less than a meg and is very easy to use. Just hit "print screen", the program captures the current screen and opens it up, then you can adjust the size (or many other options) and then save where you want it. You can also draw a box on the part of the screen you want to capture.
