Sorry for the GIF mixup, I have no idea what's going on. In Shoopity's download, there's 615 GIFs, in my download there's 615 GIFs, and they're all identical... if anyone has 685 as stated, can you send them to me? I'm not sure if he removed some in a later update but 615 is all I have and I get the File Not Found error after entering credits as well. In the meantime I have updated to 071015a, which fixes the kicker strength, fixes flipper strength and settings per ninuzzus suggestions to make the left ramp easier to hit (it's possible now!), fixes the basement skill shot kickers (set to 1 accuracy and increased from 25 to 30 in size) - this should prevent the ball from getting stuck! A few other changes as well...
I also updated the Read Me to tell you to install UltraDMD to the XDMD Demo folder instead, since apparently it needs some of those files!!!
I also fixed the DOF script for the bumpers. I did this days ago but must not have uploaded!
I was unable to fix the script out of range error, it's referring to ubound or x, ubound is a vbscript command so it must be referring to x but I'm not 100% sure why... I have not encountered the issue myself yet! When I do I will hopefully know better how to fix it

Thanks everyone for the feedback so far! Despite not having the BETA Stamp in my sig it's still very beta :)

Would it be possible to tweak these settings in real time like camera mode?

That should be possible.

@ Dirty Harry

The table now goes, I resaved almost all images, reducing a little picture quality.
However, I need more horsepower to play without stuttering,

with my PC (XP and 1GB video card) I need at least 120 frames to play smoothly and with this table I have 52 frames.

As next table I would like to make Demolition Man. Just asking to be sure that there is no other author working on it?

If you are interested, I redraw and built Demolition Man, no scripts.
Before you send it to you, I have to contact the person to whom I gave the table a few years ago, to find out if he is working on and has made progress.

I will update it tomorrow. But i really would recommend you to (re)uncheck static render on the ramps. It doesn´t look very nice

when all plastics and also the ball(s) are hidden behind them... :)

What about some old fashion trigger based ramp helper to make that AMH right ramp a little easier to hit? In real life it is a hard shot but not nearly impossible.

It's possible to hit in the current version, actually hit it twice in a row once.

Which model Video Card are you running? does it have  a OC boost GPU?

On my CAB, I have a ASUS GTX760 DirectCU 2 OC  with a 1006MHz default clock. With ambient occlusion and extreme FXAA turned off I was only getting around 95 fps on AMH.

I just found out that I had to run the GPU Tweak boost software that came with it to get the boost 1072MHZ clock speed.

That effectively doubled the FPS output on my tables.

I've found some articles on the Web that the card will run stably at a 1192mhz and GPU ram 6.4GHtz. With that setting AMH with VPX set to ambient occlusion and extreme FXAA I'm getting 160fps.

Even with the 1072MHtz boost I'm getting 147FPS. If I turn ambient occlusion and extreme FXAA off I get around 240 FPS!

What a difference the boost software makes. And it's running cool too.

Rich

you could open the script and fine the line that says "America's Most Haunted.UltraDMD" and remove the leading slash?

That's odd, PinballX must be handling this oddly, I haven't tried it on my cab yet with PinballX. I'll investigate this evening though

Hello,

hmm

changed Line 257: UltraDMD.SetProjectFolder curDir & "\America's Most Haunted.UltraDMD"

to

UltraDMD.SetProjectFolder curDir & "America's Most Haunted.UltraDMD"

Same Error Message

changed to

UltraDMD.SetProjectFolder curDir & "\AMH"

renamed Folder too to AMH

Same Error Message

changed to

UltraDMD.SetProjectFolder "C:\Games\VPT\Tables\AMH"

Same Errror Message

Starting manualy over VP10 rev2017 works great in all cases.

Seems that the Error Message dont came from the Line 257 !?

But where is the right Position for change ?

Thank you very much !

my solution

no change the script

move the table .vpx to gif folder and work fine

I bought this card secondhand so I had no discs , and never thought to look until now....

I downloaded the boost (OC) software "EVGA PrecisionX 16"

No Boost:

AMH 192 with everything off

AMH 89 with just 4xAA on

AMH 34 with FXAA Etreme, 4XAA , AO all on

With Boost:

AMH 183 with FXAA Etreme, AO on

AMH 202 with FXAA Etreme on

I don't think you need FXAA and 4xaa, it's like one or the other kind of thing isn't it?
