Slight improvement on the scoring. For the DOF guys amongst us: monopole rom is not known in the directoutputconfig.ini file. Just copy/paste the existing entry for monopoly and rename that line to monopole to get DOF working.2424b8feacfd5816c0b7f9f664b46f7a.jpg

I should have beaten your score this afternoon. Had 37 mil on first ball with two extra balls waiting. Ended up with a disappointing 50 mil, but I'm working on it!

I have been playing JP's WOW Monopoly table the last couple of days and enjoying it. But some of the table sounds were wrong, so I start updating those (drain, no scoop or kicker enter or ball collision sounds).

I decide to incorporate the low friction, high mass physics that wrd1972 and rothbauer introduced. I think I have it working.

Quick question on the Electric company kicker for anyone that has played the real machine. I noticed if you make the Electric Co kicker shot, the success rate of entering the kicker is very low. Is it supposed to be hard to enter this kicker or should it be 50/50 chance or should it be 100% success?

Very hard.
Sucks on the real one too.
Less than 50/50.

Big points are multiball.
Get first jackpot then railway to relight.
Shoot dice hole then to the double jackpot scoop for 2Mil.
Do over and over.

With one ball in the scoop collecting, shoot railway with the other, let bounce over and trap the 2nd ball.

To reach the "wizard " mode".., just shoot dice > left ramp > right ramp > dice.
Doesn't take long and you're e there.

Then build those properties.

50 mil is a pretty decent score Bob :). You will have plenty of options to beat the score. I only have today left to improve my own score, after that I will be off on my motor bike to Westerwald in Germany for a couple of days of fun in the mountains :).

I've gotton so close to senseless's score so many times, but choke at the most inopportune times. Still trying. Anyone have the table shut down in the middle of a game? I have had several occasions where the table just stops. It doesn't crash back to the editor--it just stops to the same condition like when it's waiting for you to push off a credit. I've never experienced that type of crash before.

Yes I had that happen also. The ROM seems to freeze, no more lights, flippers stop, animation stop. but yes you can exit table back to editor and restart the table

Yes, there is a bug. The table stops, when the ball is locked. There's nothing, I can do. You can't tilt; only exit and restart.
A few games I'm nearly 40m, when it was locked. So I stop playing it.

If I win this weeks challenge the next table is going to be Tee'd Off version 1.1. let's hope Bob hasn't been saving up highscores ;).

Time to get back on the bike :). f04b5df94f29ba89afc1be786fd25ebc.jpg

I decided when I got up this morning that I would play WOW for one hour to see if I could knock you down, senseless. I had gotten so close to you so many times. Today was my swan song. I had over 47 million on the first ball. And I got to a multiball that I had never seen before in all my playing---the "raise the rent" multiball, which happens after you aquire all the properties. ....effectively beating the table. When that multiball is done, you go back to zero ownership. I am not opposed to playing Teed Off for next week's challenge, but I read elsewhere that the table has problems with a stuck ball in the upper left of the table. I'm done playing pball for the day, but if you want to give that table a go, senseless, and see if you get errors, go for it. If you report no issues, we'll make it that.

When I got the 50+ score I also had that special mode with the rent a house. Pretty neat and fun too! The balls just kept on coming and finally the flippers are dead and you get a new ball to continue the game. I played the new Tee'd Off table a couple of times and had a lot of fun and no errors :).
And congratz with the new highscore :).

Yeah. That's the "wizard" mode I spoke of.
RCT is the same with "Park Tycoon "

Nice score Bob. Played the game once on Thursday, ended up with 50m - then, yesterday I saw your score and I told myself to give it another try. Ended up with 85m and change. I don't know - but, I would have preferred JP to make the table look like the original. Had fun though :)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I'm excited you guys are playing Tee'd Off!  I'll be participating this week.  Of course I'll only post scores obtained this week.  Looking forward to see what others can achieve and any feedback you all have on the table.  Good luck!
