It's good that the issue is fixed, but I rearranged some lines in the script to get the VPM to .run as early as I could, and set up some of the variables and stuff that was happening before to after and have yet to see the table come up behind the editor.

It's nice to have it working properly. But I only tested it with 5 runs, Before I was getting the table up front about 1 out of 20 runs though.

Thanks again.

I used 1799 for about an hour last night on Win 7 with no real issue.  The modal Options window, could be resized but when the window lost focus, it would default back to the orig size (which was not wide enough to see all the options items...

I used it for about 6 hours on and off. No issues except once I lost the Options window, I had to turn it off and on. Not a big deal but was confusing for about 3 seconds.

Might put up a seperate thread titled "Request testers for VP 10 on XP" to see if that helps get the attention of more people.  :D

I am a XP user, what I've found I have said in the bug tracker.
However, I have not done a lot of testing, there is something in particular that I have to try? edit? play? ......
all.

Cool! That means that basically it works (because with my old tests it didn't even start), except for this out of memory issue with MB.  :/

Thanks Kiwi. That means the VS2013 build works under WinXP and we can use it without loosing all WinXP users

I gave it a quick test in my xp cabinet also.  I was able to open and play a few games of Monster Bash and my New Wave table,  I didn't notice any issues.

I believe thats a question for NOAH FENZ as he is the owner of the site, and pretty much is in SOLE CONTROL of approving tables, adding sections, etc. I believe he hasnt granted those permissions to any of the mods - although I could be wrong. So you might want to PM him for the request.

Running 1799.  I can't open my road kings table.  I was looking to maybe start a conversion of that. I had opened it in past versions (1789) and even saved it as a .vpx.  But I can't open either .vpx or vpt.  It just crashes.  Not sure why that is.

@Shockman: with the next revision you can define your own default color for materials in the editor options :)

Having a couple strange issue with VPX. Check thread here. https://pinside.com/.../2#post-2273966

I would upload the image into this forum but i have no idea how to do that?

The other issue is that the overall image looks washed out and slightly blurry from the original. Not as crisp and contrasted.

Pink indicates that a material has not been assigned to the object.  Is that what is going on here?

P.S.  That is looking pretty sweet!

I guess the element in question is inserted on the backdrop (decal or light)?

Its just a wall object with the same image visible on the top only. Now, in VP9 this worked perfectly but VP10 it seems there is an extra step i am missing here. Not to familiar with this material editor.
