I live north east of "Turanna" and I'd love to drop a few quarters in that High Speed of yours some time! dblthumb.gif

Only if you can get 1.0.1 to work on my VP cab or hurry up with 1.0.2 smile.gif Anytime you want to drop by I'm in the North York area but I might have a buyer lined up for my High Speed so it might be a short stay in my game room. He's a collector and really interested and wants to inspect the cab but I also have another cab lined up so who knows I might end up with another real pin next to High Speed.

Two things, first, please stop replying with a quote of the previous person when it's not necessary, it wastes bandwidth and confuses people.
Second, I don't understand what you mean. Sometimes it can help if you provide a screenshot and circle the object so that we can see what problem you are having. Thank you.

Best Regards,
Todd.

That is very strange never reported about this table before. Perhaps your download corrupted somehow? Try downloading the table again and playtest it before you try to edit the script or the table.

Also, this FS version uses images that are 1024x2048 so make sure your video card can handle images that size or use VP912 and change the texture size in video settings to 512 or 1024.

Best Regards,
Todd.

Hey Krudge,

Are you planning to update this materpiece with alpha ramps?

I thought long about this but the ramps in High Speed are solid black plastic so it doesn't really need to be updated.

In my humble opinion, updating High Speed with alpha transparency means that everyone who is still using a version of VP9 that is older than VP91x won't be able to play High Speed until they upgrade to VP91x or newer.

If you want the clear plastic ramp cover to be transparent, you can use the re-import function in VP912 to update the transparent ramp image attached to this post and save the table under a new name - like "High Speed 1.0.1 FS VP912" for example. This way you will have two versions, one for VP9 and a new one with alpha transparency for VP912 or newer.

WARNING: if you add the attached file to High Speed, you won't be able to play it in a version that is older than VP91x.

Here's how to make the ramp cover transparent with an alpha-transparent PNG image:
After you load HighSpeed 1.0.1 VP9, use the image manager of VP912 to find the file g_Trans and then make sure it's highlighted - click on g_Trans with your mouse. Click the "Re-import From" button. Navigate to where you saved the "y_Trans_60.png" file, click on the file, then click the Open button. Click the OK button. Save the table as HighSpeed 1.0.1 FS VP912 and then you should be able to play.

Best Regards,
Todd.

Sorry, that yellow image does not look so good, here is a better one:

In the image manager, set the transparency RGB colours to 123/123/123 to make the image look nicer.

Todd.

Also, the ramp pieces that make up the clear plastic cover will need to be changed from "Acrylic" to "Alpha" otherwise the ball will not be visible as it passes under the clear plastic ramp.

Todd.

can play in any resolution including max res 1920.

sorry, my computer skills are not up to some of you.
