Yeah, that is my first game in my mini virtual pinball (still under construction, but I couldn't resist to test my TAF in FS), I LOVE playing tables this way, it's awesome!

Yes. Yes it is. Don't play too much, though, or you'll never finish the cabinet!

Looks great Melon. It looks really 3D in that screenshot for some reason. smile.gif What a blast playing FS tables on an actual cabinet eh? Can never go back after that...

Thanks for your hard work. TAF is my favorite game by far (I have a real one also, but stripped it in order to recoat playfield with a plastic version and never finished). Just started to convert my Mame/VP machine to only pinball now that Spanned tables exist. Any chance of a Spanned version of TAF?

You have a build thread for your mini cab melon, or more pics? Also i thought a FS version had been released already?

Hello there guys.
I rescue this thread as I'm updating all my tables and it's TAF time!
I have a question about the view. This is the actual view:

The problem is that since I discovered layback in FS now I don't like seeing the back of the flippers, as you don't see it when you're playing on a real machine.
So I've been playing around increasing FOV and adding some layback:

And even more FOV:

What I like of these new views is that it gives more depth to the table. The table even looks larger.
So what view would you prefer?

PS: I only have to add new flashers and I'll release it a few days.

Looking good. I really like the image called taf1. Of course, I can only speak for myself as a widescreen VP user, but I think it looks nice.

Hello Melon. This is great news on your next update!!!

Is your question just for the 4:3 users?? I'm a big convert of layback, inclination and FOV for full screen tables.

Did you manage to find a better quality PF for your update? I noticed that it and some of the plastics were looking a bit pixelated at full screen.

Heya Melon!

I scored some great pics of the lower plastics, if you'd like much higher res source images for those areas.

I like taf1.

Desktop tables always lacked the feeling of length before layback came into the picture!

Original View/Pic 1 i like the best as well. Layback is great & all, but on FS tables, as for the desktop tables i like WS/no layback

I think the first one looks most natural for desktop tables, since the general 'view' you have is low angle anyway - it's not the same as standing over a cabinet. The layback ones just look strange to me.

Sound interesting Noah! Hope that the table gets even more chrispy! biggrin.gif
My vote goes to the taf1 if you want to imply FOV, original still looks great though!

Cheers!
