Hi Bolt,

What great fun to compete with you! I can't wait to get into a repeat of our other friendly duel with the all new and improved LOTR that comes our way! Although MM seems a bit friendlier in the scoring department than earlier versions (otherwise I honestly wouldn't have scored like I did) I do expect a tougher table with LOTR, so probably no more scores in the high 800/900M range....
Greetings Slam23

If I may say so .. when the Trolls come out they make this marvelous sound (like a 'metal-click') when playing the real MM Table.

GRONI perfectly emulated .. a superb addition to this Title! smile.gif

Cheers,
FD.

I have had this bug happen a couple of times now. The right troll remains up, and is solid so merlin is blocked untill vp is restarted. I couldn't figure out how to attach the screen shot that i took. Basically, The right troll stays up missing the door/lid that is usually on its head (that part is now below the troll as if it closed like it was supposed to). Sorry if this has already been reported, I love this table and it plays perfectly most of the time.

What kind of video card do you have specifically? You need a lot of HP to run in H/W mode. Probably need a good 512MB NVIDIA card non-integrated. smile.gif

Using the new version of Visual Pinball 9.0.5 seems to me that this table was faster than in the 9.0.4 and consequently more difficult to play. Is possible the new features included in release 9.0.5 capable to change the physics of the table? think.gif

Thanks!

Big Thanks to my friend Hassanchop for this very nice dmd.

Guys, do not need to answer me. Please ignore this post. I have the answer... I'm going crazy! blink.gif I just play a new game and I broke my own record in the release 9.0.5. So the problem is me biggrin.gif and not the emulator.
Greetings!

Big Thanks to my friend Hassanchop for this very nice dmd.

Anyone have a problem getting the DMD to show up on the screen? The game plays fine for me and I hear the DMD sounds but it is not showing up in full screen mode. Could this be a problem with VPaint since this is one of the few games I have seen with this program used? If I play in windowed mode then I can drag the game window over and the DMD screen is behind it. Still the DMD in full screen is a must. Great playing game though Groni!

Often these slowdowns are caused by another application running in the bakground. For the best VP experience be sure to close as many other applications that maybe running as possible.

I had the same problem with the dmd, I couldn't even drag it around without the game messing up.
Also I could never get it to run right in full screen mode with that box checked. Worked on this for weeks
and no luck. I finally just did a complete reinstall of everything to start off clean.
Finally it just started working right. I open up a table now and can click on the dmd-show borders-drag
the dmd to my second screen-resiize it-then click on the table-then click back on dmd and unchecked show borders.
Now the dmd stays on my second screen. When I reopen the table the dmd is the right size but it covers the
table so you just have drag it to screen 2 and play. Not sure if thats right, but it works for me and no more
headaches biggrin.gif

Sorry did not notice you were talking about one screen but I still had the problem with the dmd in single screen.
Basically I could not get it to show up or sometimes it was to big and I could not do anything with it until I started over from scratch

Thanks for the advice! You're right. I use dozens of applications at the same time. Antivirus is one of the heaviest programs I use. The first impression for me that the table was faster. I thought that any changes in 9.0.5 VP had caused this acceleration. But then I saw the maxballspeed = 45 standard in Groni´s tables was keep. I played a few times and I realized that the problem was me. smile.gif I appreciate the Groni's tables because they are very very well done and also very smooth gameplay. In none of them I need to turn off HR. All Megapin's tables runs smooth on my computer that has more than five years.
Greetings! smile.gif

New to VP love this table!

What is H/W (I assume hardware) mode that is often mentioned,
where / why would I try it?

To my knowledge, every recently released table is saved with hardware rendering activated (checked). So, if the tables are working great for you, don't change a thing.
