I've just added another three to the list in the first post for the FX3 Williams Pack #5.

For some reason, ToTAN b2s displays a squished grill off to one side. All other b2s display fine, and I have a 3 monitor setup. Don’t see anything in my ini, which shouldn’t be it since all other display properly anyway...

Got a question, how to get the PinballFX 3 logo backglass to show on the main menu? All the individual tables display fine but when I nav back to the main menu my backglass display is blank(cab setup).

Any help would be great !

Do you have the grill turned off?  ie right click on the B2S and ensure grill is disabled.

@Shredhed, are you talking about navigating through FX3 manually and not using a front end such as PinballX?  If so, then DOFLinx will display the B2S backglass upon game selection but there will be nothing displayed if you go back beyond the game selection stage of the FX3 menu system.  If you are launching games from a front end menu like PinballX then its a function of that front end system to display a backglass image.

@DDH69 Yes I am talking about navigating the menu system in PFX3, I'm not using any other frontend like pinballx. When navigating thru the table selection screens the backglasses display properly for tables that I have a b2s backglass for. I noticed that if I don't have a backglass of a given table, the image from the previously owned table stays displayed like its in a buffer or something.  This also happens when I go back to the PFX3 main menu.

Just an idea but what if no b2s file is found, the backglass defaults to the pfx3 logo jpg, instead of the"buffered" image? Just a thought.

Loving the b2s's so far, appreciate what you've done, Good Stuff !

For some reason, I can’t normally right click the b2s backglass, it just keeps forcing focus back to the playfield, but I finally got that to work, and turning it off through the menu did it. I didn’t realize those settings were per-backglass, thought they were universal. Thanks a lot!

I'll look into this over Christmas.   Its a nice idea, I'll check if its possible.

Hi, I am very late to the game. I finally got around to getting db2s backglasses working in FX3. Is there a link to the FX2 files that were packaged in older versions of DOFLinx (South Park, Plants Vs Zombies, etc.)?

Are these backglasses supposed to somehow react to gameplay or inputs? I installed Doflinx, and it loads the backglasses with Pinball FX3, but I don't see any reaction from them, just a static picture....

I would also be interested in a solution to sirlee's issue (also toxicgoblin on the previous page): DOF set up correctly, paths checked and re-checked, no log errors, DOF working (apparently), and all I have is a static picture on the BG upon lunch of the FX3 table. The b2s seems to be "there", loaded, otherwise there would not even be any picture, yet, there is no animation at all. Any solution or suggestion is much appreciated.

Yes the backglasses do animate based on gameplay.  If you are not obtaining this effect then I suggest starting a specific support thread.  You should describe your setup, post your DOFLinx.INI file, do a short run with a game with DEBUG=1 and post the resultant DOFLinx.LOG as well.

There is always an effect on the BG for ball launch and nudge if you are looking for something certain to trigger activity.

Are there any plans to upgrade these files to higher res / better images? (some, like Iron Man are very low resolution on my screen). Thanks in advance :)

No specific plans, but always happy for continuous improvement.  If you have some suitable images let me know.

Added a default FX3 logo to the list for optional use with > DOFLinx V7.10

This backglass will display if FX3 is not reporting a current game name, ie if you are navigating the menu and / or grid before selecting your first game.  If you are driving things from a front end this is not really necessary.  It certainly can't hurt to have it loaded with your other FX3 active backglasses.
