Hmmm.. thats bad.. any specific tables you use for reproducing? Cause i do that all the time (having multiple tables open and then closing some, reopening others, etc) and never had it happen once..

I've had editor open for days lol only one crash while working in it so I think it's best its ever been but I'm not working on a vpm table so not sure if that maybe reason it's been so good?

did you test 10.3.1 and see if it still happens?

 

 

yep.... still happening.... I was coping parts from one table and pasting them into another.... I saved the table.... then closed the other, and it crashed...

Ich bin Sauer auf VP 10 Emulator, ich bin zu Blöde dafür um diesen richtig zu Installieren, habe es 2 mal Probiert und 2 mal ist da was Schief gelafen weil ich kein Englisch kann, er sagte mir irgendetwas mit Fully 1.42, wie gesagt ich konnte da werder den Emulator Installieren noch den Patch Installieren, vielen dank an die Programmierer die es auf Englisch gemacht haben. Noch schwerer kann es nicht sein, für einen wie mich , bin Sauer, Bitte VP 11 auf Deutsch mit Deutscher Anleitung oder einmal ein kleines video machen. Und was soll ich hier runterladen VPX1 VPX2 VPX3 oder doch vielleicht VPX Setup, ob ich ein Freund von VP 10 Emulator werde oder nicht, kann und will ich nicht Beatworten.  Und dann immer diese Umschreiben für die Roms, die Richtigen Roms mitliefern und gut nicht das mann da 5 oder 6 zur auswahl hat.

@WWE: Probiers mal im flippermarkt, da wird deutsch gesprochen, und es gibt auch deutsche Anleitungen und Hilfe, ich glaub sogar auch Videos (oder jemand kann dir dort sagen wo's die gibt).

Vielleicht wirst du da erstmal fuendig oder findest sogar jemand in deiner Naehe der dir direkt zu Hause helfen kann.

 

Visual Pinball auf deutsch ist auch moeglich, aber das kostet Zeit. Und wir machen das hier alles in unserer unbezahlten Freizeit,

d.h. man muss priorisieren was man zuerst tut, und englisch ist halt der kleinste gemeinsame Nenner und kostet daher keine zusaetzliche Freizeit.

 

Und das mit den ROMs muss genauso sein, wie es ist, denn wir koennen, wollen und duerfen die ROMs nicht zum eigentlichen Programm mit dazu packen!

Und es gibt verschiedenste Versionen der ROMs weil es in echt eben auch verschiedene Versionen gibt, und diese werden nicht nur zum Spass gesammelt, sondern

zur historischen Archivierung, aehnlich wie in einem Museum oder einer Bibliothek.

Yes, I am or No, I Am Not ich drückte auf Ok jetzt Öffnet sich ein weiteres Fenster und sagt mit VBSricpt User is not Legally entitled to Play this game! drück ich auf weiter startet der Tisch blinkt einmal kurz Austin dreht sich und das war es auch schon nix passiert ich kann zwar die Feder zurückziehen, und Münzen einwerfen aber starten kann ich den Tisch immer noch nicht.

Also so richtig schlau wird man aus dem von dir Geschriebenem nicht.

Du gibst keine Informationen, wo und was du installiert hast. Am besten du löscht alles komplett und machst erst mal eine richtige Installation mit dem All-In-One-Installer. Dann hast du schon mal die Programme an der richtigen Stelle. Dann sieht man weiter.

Und nutze doch das Angebot von Bambi und gib ihm Zugriff per Teamviewer. Das ist dann eine noch einfachere Sache und du kannst dabei sicherlich noch einiges lernen.

did 10.3.1 fix issues reading/writing files to user directory.  I was having some issues and I upgraded my 10.3 to 10.3.1 today and my troubles went away.  I saw some other posts about the table lost world and I think this was the issue, just not sure.  Any info on that.

Actually that's a Windows thing. A user account should have write rights to that folder. So if you installed VP in the Program Files folder, then either you move it out or give full access rights to the users group. I'm used to the Pro versions of Windows (7,8,10), so I'm not sure how that is handled in the home versions. Anyway Windows (Vista upwards) will make a lot of trouble to older programs installed in the Program Files folder, and yes VP is an "older" program, even if VPX has got some fixes so you don't need to run it as an administrator, but still the Program Files folder will try to stop you writing to files. In my experience Windows 10 is better then Windows 7 is this matter, as it allows me to write a txt file on the root of the C drive, open it and save it. Windows 7 Pro never let me that.

 

So if you are using Windows 7, then just move VP out of the program files folder.  And if you already have VP on another path, then check the security rights of the user folder.
