Yes I spent a small fortune building my cab last year, I thought Avengers theme would be cool with iron man bust as topper. Didn't go down to well with the mrs at first though lol

Hi randr setting up my kit in Sunny Brisbane and having a little trouble, I noticed you had a black background on your grid during calibration. I have a grey out of focus image of me and led board is not recognising all leds no mater how much I tilt or twist.. Driving me crazy at the moment. Any advise would really be greatly appreciated.

I have not had any issues or have heard of any problems in 80 kits I've supplied.

sweet, I just ordered 2 x ps3 eye cameras, but apparently there are two different version's and one of them isn't modable. There is no way of knowing until i get them, but if they are the wrong kind i'll be getting your kit :)

if you buyed them new then you can have problem , because the good one has the ir filter on outside of the lens and the bad one has the ir filter in the middle and has a outer lensglass and a inner lensglass so impossible to take out ..

Got them from ebay, removed from a bundle so they have never been used. Fingers crossed.

Awesome!! Thanks!!

Oh, BTW - I saw you deeloped this to use Kinect as well? Is it better or worse to use that, the Wiimote, or the PS3 cams?

I've not developed it ravarcade did. Kinect has came a long way but I prefer ps3 as it won't jump to someone standing next to you...but honestly either works just fine. Kinect no need for led glasses but not as smooth but dang near same now

Personally I prefer ps3 cams as they feel smoother and more accurate. But you do need the ir led some people don't like that.
Honestly I'd be shocked if vp10 don't support a version of head tracking. So let's hope the secs of vp keep it all the same for what people already have

wow, cheap kinects on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/...=item43c8cc225e

i think pared with this is a win win

http://www.ebay.com/...=item2c81d9005a

I'll have / will use the PS Eyes btw, because I already have them. If I get tired or have problems when I get there in my build .... I'll go with the Kinect route .... as is more "user friendly". I already have a kinect (sadly) but I will buy one just for this, if so .... damn they are so cheap now lol poor MS
