5 Volt Vishay Part number - LEE128G032B000E90
Crap video I am afraid buy the board works a treat.
Very easy to install and no need to even rotate the DMD to the right direction anymore!
Brilliant work russdx. Recommend this board HIGHLY!

Thanks for the verification maxxsinner, I just ordered my Vishay display online!

Best Regards,
Todd.

Hi Todd,

I live in Whitby, Ontario and I was wondering where you got the Vishay screen from. I also wanted to know if you are still attending the church of pinball in mississauga. I was there once and they mentioned that one of the guys was into making digital pinball machines. I mentioned my projects and they said that the person lived on the east end of the city.

Anyways, nice to see that this hobby is taking off in Canada.

Let me know if you can.

All the best.

( PS if you are attending an event, I would like to meet you to discuss the Digital Pinball stuff as I have done lighting on my machine with a three monitor setup. )

I ordered mine from the Newark / element14 website. They shipped it via UPS World Ease Saver and I got it the next day.
They are low on stock and probably in shock as to why the sudden surge in orders has occured:
element14 - Vishay LED DMD

Here's the place to check IF there will be COTSB pinball faith night:
COTSB - Pinball Faith

and sometimes I update this thread:
COTSB current events

If you see there is a pinball faith, just shoot me a PM to see if I'm going or not. biggrin.gif

Best Regards,
Todd.
p.s. I'm about 45 minutes west of Whitby, in Markham.

For those that wanted to see how to connect the 5 volt Vishay DMD to a PC power supply. Use the red wire from a hard drive molex plug for the 5 volts and connect it to the DMD via a 1.5 amp fast blow fuse. Then connect the ground directly to the dmd as show.

If your using the 12 volt plasma, obviously just use the 12 volt yellow wire and adjacent ground and use a 4 amp fuse.
Make sure your power supply can handle the extra load.

If you using the multi voltage plasma... your on your own biggrin.gif
But please share your results if you get it going....

I think I saw this mentioned in an earlier post; if so, the answer is Yes. It might not hurt to consider the wattage demand of the DMD, but most cabinets have pretty beefy power supplies, so it sounds good to me.

good news about the idc cable! That means I won't have to make one myself.

As for the youtube link, it says embedding has been disabled and redirects to the youtube page to watch it, but at youtube it says the video has been marked private? think.gif

Best Regards,
Todd.
