Oh wow, Slamt1lt is at it again? His shenanigans have to be amongst the most amusing things this community produces. Also, a decently sized ego does help amplify the fun the whole ordeal gives. I basically advertise my Youtube channel with every post, and I have to get lucky to break 100 views on one of my videos, but I don't really care. If anything, it's a basic way to give previews for the music files.

Also, this thread is pretty damn wack. But you, you already know that!

Frank, I feel your frustration. I was given an early version of the IM table from GLXB, before he gave it to Slam to finish. I have had the unfinished version on my cab since last summer. If there is anyone who is more pissed off about this silly situation, it's me. With the utmost respect, you need to chillax. Have a pint and mellow out man, it's not that big of a deal. If we are patient, he will release the tables (snide comments not withstanding).

Somebody who cares about the community would've released that table w/ no strings attached. So, he probably only cares about 1 thing...his ego.

My thoughts.

First, Slam called Noah a "douche". That was wrong. Name calling never solves anything. I have great respect for Noah, and I'd like to meet him sometime and maybe buy him a beer and talk Pinball.

Second, I'm pissed at Slam for having the "I'm taking my tables and going home" attitude. why should he have taken Destruk's comments so seriously? I know there is a war going on here, and FP fans are in the crossfire. He should have stuck to his word, ignored the comments, and posted the tables.

Third, Destruk's comments were not necessary. He has called us "Slamtilt worshipers". I have table authors I like in both VP/FP. I don't care if it was JP making Iron Man, I'd still want to play it. Destruk was acting like a "Slamtilt sniper". Waiting for the right time, just before release, and left the same message on all of Slam's vids. That was premeditated, and seems to have been done just so he could get an "I told you so!" moment for himself. I don't know exactly how Brian feels about FP, but I sure would like to be able to play IM on FP sometime before I die. Since he is a moderator of a forum, he should be looking towards a higher standard, and be looking out for the community, since FP fans are part of it. Committing sabotage did not help the situation for anyone. Some of us just want to play the tables.

I realize there is a lot of hatred from this forum towards Slamtilt, and he deserves a lot of it from authors of tables he modded without permission, and moderators of pinball forums he has called names. There are a lot of members on this forum calling names as well, guys who have only been here for 2 months, and only have 30 posts. Where does that animosity come from? Only being here for a short time, and not having tables that Slam has modded. I believe in forgiveness, and "live and let live". Hatred breeds hatred. All I want to do is play pinball, not quarrel.

I love both pinball forums I am a member of, and I thank Noah and Destruk for all the effort they put in. And all the work Destruk puts into VP, thank you.

I would ask most humbly that moderators from this forum PLEASE refrain from any more comments on youtube about his tables or practices. I would like the chance to play the tables. Thanks, Mike.

Contrary to what seems to be popular belief, there is no war between VP, FP, VPF, or any combination of the above.

Personally, I support anything and everything that is pinball ... period.

If destruk, you, me, Santa Claus, or God Himself wants to post on YouTube, that's their prerogative. Personally, I do believe it's a 'scam' (used in the loosest of terms) that he demands 1,000 views before releasing a table. I wouldn't ever conceive of doing anything so absurd and leave everyone hanging to boot.

This is not a problem with anyone here, be it staff, member, VIP, VP user, FP user, or whatever. This is solely the problem of one dude who has no respect for anything the hundreds of people before him have done to establish and build this community.

This was inevitable, as is you never getting Iron Man. By coddling his already fragile ego, you are all only giving him more than he deserves.

Any links I find here linking to anything to do with SLAMT1LT with be removed.

He was banned for a reason, we have our rules for a reason, and we must uphold them or chaos ensues.

But Moogster, you can already play the Iron Man table - you wouldn't be wanting to upload the WIP copy you have had for months, for anyone else to try to finish it besides SlamTilt would you? You know I'm usually a nice person as I've helped plenty of people in the FP community in the past. I have no animosity to FP. I do take issue with some attitudes present in the FP community, just as I have some issues with similar attitudes in the VP community. Right now he's just seen as a liar. He said he'd release it and he didn't, so any anger you have should be taken out on him IMO.

Destruk, the WIP was just that, a very unfinished WIP. Not really playable. Also, what you are saying I should have done, is against this forums rules. I cannot distribute a table that is not mine for mods or any other work. It belonged to GLXB, not me. It would be his decision to ask someone else to finish it.

Are you stating that you were not the one who waited till the last moment, and posted the same comment on every one of his videos? If you were stating your true feelings, why did you wait? I am sure it occurred to you he may be waiting for a figure from this forum to comment, and call foul. Since you don't like the guy, and really don't seem to care, why bother yourself? Especially knowing it may cause an issue.


Maybe Slam was never going to release the tables. But maybe he was. Who knows? Now I will wait and see. I agree the guy has quirks, but I like his tables. Do you think that Slam would have had the same reaction if Noah posted comments? What if you said "The tables look good!"? The guy was banned from here, more than once if I remember correctly. I was banned from Gamespot, and I still get emails from them. Does that piss me off? You Bet.

I want everyone one to know I am not writing angrily, just stating how I feel about this matter. I respect Noah's and Destruk's comments, mine should be respected as well. You guys state that he will never post his tables, now let's see if that's true or not.

Don't take this the wrong way, but why is it you can't see it wasn't the fact it was destruk particularly? It would have happened if anyone he could have blamed it on VPF posted. It's his way of creating strife amongst friends, and you're falling right into it.

Do you really care if he posts his tables? His tables are okay, and that's great, but at what length is one really willing to go just to play his tables? I mean, let's think about it here. He totally disrespects the community, and yet you still pine for his tables. C'mon, man, you're much better than that. I wouldn't play a single table of his solely on principle. I wouldn't care if the table gave me a handy while I played.

As for whether his tables will be posted here ...

If he were to contact me, talk to me like a rational person, and be willing to abide by our board rules, then I would have no problem with it. Will it happen under the current circumstances ... no.

Noah, I was never expecting his tables to be posted here. Only on his youtube page. How many real pinball tables do you have in your house? 3? 4? I admire anyone who does because I can't have any, I don't have the space or the funds. VP and FP is all I've got. I wish I could go down to my basement and play the real IM table, but I can't. My concern. Just like it's my concern that I'm "pining" for the IM table. I am not sitting here biting my finger nails, waiting for it. I just want the opportunity to play it, is that wrong? That's why we're here right? To play virtual pinball. Hell, maybe the table sucks, how can I know? What has been proven is that if staff from VPF goes over to youtube and posts negative stuff, he runs. Is that wrong? for him to run when that happens? I already stated yes it's wrong. I don't like it, but still I wait. We have all waited for releases.

Again, if someone like JP or UW said they were making a VP version of IM, I would be "pining" for that one too. Just like you are a wrestling fan, I am an IM fan. That's why I wait.

I realize that where Slam goes, trouble seems to follow. I am figuring this out pretty well now. I am not trying to lose friends I have made here, you guys ROCK! This forum is great, with great people. I wouldn't have paid for a lifetime membership here if I didn't like it. I would never send the kind of PMs and stuff that Slam must have sent you. But I would still like the chance to play the table.
