Hey Stuzza, I'm having a problem with Plants vs Zombies Pinball Art files, I need to convert them from psd to jpg.

 

I have convert all but the cabinet ones and it look like I can not download the file again as the link is down.

 

The guy I have printing them, is waiting on me to send them to him. If you could help me out thanks.

I took the liberty to show off you work directly here which might generate some more feedback for ya 

I think it's a bit crowded and the flow is not really there... yet    none the less, if you like it, go with it. Love custom designed art.

Looks very nice - agree it’s a bit busy - I would consider picking a theme (or two) and adding other images to match - just a thought.

That said you should also extend the actual image a good 1” additionally in all directions to allow for some overlap and trim - don’t want to be too short on an edge as you line things up
Also I assume you will fill in the button holes black on print - easier to cut away than be short or off when lining it up

I just got my artwork back (did my own custom Tron legacy) and it turned out fantastic- planning to mount the decals over Christmas- wish me luck!
Brad did my print and he does excellent work - highly recommended

I agree with gStAv.  It is a good start, but way too busy.  A few tips:

 

Try and stick to an overall theme.

Mixing cartoon style characters and live action characters rarely works.  Pick one style or the other.

Reduce the amount of characters you have.  Too many and there is nothing to focus on.

If using a starburst in the background, have it highlight something or have the focus the centre of the image, leading out to other images.

Some images have glow, some don't.  Try and make sure everything matches.

Don't forget you still have a backbox and front to put images on.  So you can easily reduce the amount of characters on the main side and add them to the other bits of art.

 

Overall the best principle is KISS - "Keep It Simple Stupid !!".

I have taken your point on board and have removed the star burst and some of the "minor characters". Once I have cleaned up a bit more I will post the updated version.

 

Stuzza, do you still do commissioned work and if so what do you charge?

I went for something similar it was printed by brad and came out great. Big thanks to stuzza for his work and this thread which helped me finally get some art on my cabinet.

Hi want to use the galaxy artwork for a cab build i am doing but need all right side pictures and to mirror the left aide will make the writing backwards can someone tell me how to solve this or has a copy they can let me have please.

Or even point me in right direction on how to do it.
