shipped out another 17 (every one who paid before I went down to post office) smile.gif

royal mail have bumped there prices up again its now £8.45 to send signed for to the states which is a joke for some thing that weighs 50grams!!!!

hopefully soon Noah will be selling them in his store so people, don't have to pay these ridiculous shipping costs! (I can cover Europe / UK)

There is a place called "Mr. Pinball" in Australia - they have a gigantic warehouse of parts, and a huge factory producing Medieval madness games - they might have a DMD to sell.

Build a fire, vipers love the heat.

Try Pinball Spare Parts Australia:

www.pinball.co

They bought out the IP inventory a while back and have lots of stuff.

Hi Russdx

I just paid my invoice (Nathan Hortness). I was going to increase the payment since the shipping costs have gone up but paypal didn't give me the option. I have a 24hr concierge so there is no need to mail it with 'signature required' and I really don't need the board right away since I do not even have a cab built yet so feel free to use the slowest shipping method.

Russdx: I think I am getting my new cab with the pinDMD in about two weeks, looking forward to giving you news on how it works (here's hoping I don't have a dead DMD!!!)

BTW, if you are taking names to be put on a list for the future driver board, please do add my name. I'm in no hurry, I think I will enjoy this board for as long as it takes but everything I've seen from the various videos, well, it's a no brainer to get your next gen board whenever it's ready.

Prehaps not a +5v problem lol ( mine is 4.85v )
First i use a USB extension = BAD IDEA lol But don't know first
Then try with a regulator 7805 same thing
Remove the extension USB and use a PS3 USB CABLE otvclap.gif otvclap.gif otvclap.gif otvclap.gif
Remove the 7805 and use my PSU +5V otvclap.gif otvclap.gif otvclap.gif

Conclusion NEVER USE USB EXTENSION with PINDMD and if your +5v isn't great you can use a 7805 dblthumb.gif

pinDMD will work with ANY 128x32 pinball dot matrix display smile.gif

Noah will be stocking the vishay LED dmds soon smile.gif

don't think a 7805 can supply enough current as these LED dmds can really suck a bit of current when fully lit, using the +5 straight from a pc psu is probably your best bet smile.gif

USB extension? is that like a usb hub? not tried this yet lol
