Ok got it working now.

I was still using an older version of FPLaunch (the original one from the HyperPin installation), so now I downloaded the FPLaunch WIP 10. Looks better btw with more options and high scores etc.

And I was using a wrong version of AutoHotKey....So downloaded the correct version from www.autohotkey.com and installed it as ANSI.

Copied this into the FPLaunch .ahk :

;------------------------------------------------------------------------------;
;                                RUN SYSTEM                                    ;
;------------------------------------------------------------------------------;
         ;Create dummy PinEmHi.vpt in tables folder

    if (tablename = "PinEmHi") {

    RunWait, START PINemHi_Leaderboard FS.exe, Max

    Process, WaitClose, START PINemHi_Leaderboard FS.exe
    WinWaitClose, START PINemHi_Leaderboard FS.exe ahk_class AutoHotkeyGUI
    Sleep, 500
    WinActivate, HyperPin ahk_class ThunderRT6FormDC
    ExitApp
    }

;**********************************FUTURE PINBALL***********************************

Compiled it with the new AHK and BANG.....working Pinemhi into HyperPin !.

Now I have to create a nice wheel an backglass for the Pinemhi "table" !

Many thanks to DNA and Chepas :love39: :otvclap: :tup:

one more thing.....do you have this problem too ?

When I start a B2S pinball from pinemhi....no problem, nice backglass while pinballing

but when I start a UVP pinball from pinemhi :

uvpproblem.png

when I start the same pinball from Vpinball or HyperPin no problem with UVP....

Try making a copy of the Flintstones UVP. Rename the copy to match the name it has in the pinemhi xml.

ok I (copied and) renamed the 16 uvp's and 18 backglasses to the name from the pinemhi.xml

started a game, but still the uvp server in the corner

Do I place the uvp's and the backglasses in their original folders ? C:\HyperPin\UltraVP and C:\HyperPin\Media\Visual Pinball\Backglass Images

Or somewhere else ?

No, they stay where they are.

	<game>
         		<name>The Flintstones</name>
         		<VP9>Flintstones_VP91x_1.02</VP9>
         		<VP8>Flintstones_v2.1_JPG-PINS</VP8>
         		<FS>Flintstones_VP91x_1.02FS</FS>
         		<execute></execute>
	</game>

That is the pinemhi games.xml. For a uvp to work the name has to be the name as <name>The Flintstones</name> ie: The Flintstones.uvp

  <game name="Flintstones_VP91x_1.02FS">
    <description>Flintstones, The (Williams 1994)</description>
    <manufacturer>Williams</manufacturer>
    <year>1994</year>
    <type>SS</type>
  </game>

Hyperpin = Flintstones, The (Williams 1994).uvp

Very strange, I start my existing Dirty Harry table and have a working UVP. When I rename the table, for example, Dirty Harry to Dirty Harry test, rename the uvp and the backglass also to Dirty Harry test, the UVP is not working anymore. But I discovered how to "workaround" the problem. First I have to add the new table (new name : Dirty Harry test) into the hyperpin/visual pinball.xml Start the table from hyperpin. After that I can start the table from VPinball or from Pinemhi and have UVP. Pfff....love to have a solution instead of the workaround...or better....have all tables with B2S...no problems and better performance with those backglasses.

Or is there a quicker way to use a new (renamed) table and have UVP instantly?

uvpproblem.png

Weird...when I delete the entry from the visual pinball.xml (for example Dirty Harry test), the UVP is gone again (even when starting a table from Vpinball).

So it only works...when it's in the xml. I thought it was just looking for an .uvp and a .png to activate UVP.

Not sure , there must be other way to run uvp without frontend, but saying that I've never needed to. The only workaround here is for pinemhi. The names are different from the standard naming , meaning you will have to rename if you want uvp in pinemhi.

UVP is dying out so I wouldn't worry too much.

UPDATE  PINemHi Leaderboard

Added 3 games:

Star Wars Trilogy

The Phantom of the Opera

The Sopranos

Download the update and overwrite the files into your pinemhi_leaderboard v2.1.2 directory.

If you have changed the games.xml file and you want to keep those changes , best way is not to overwrite that file but put in manually:

    <game>
                 <name>Star Wars Trilogy</name>
                 <VP9>Star_Wars_Trilogy_VP915_v1.0.2</VP9>
                 <VP8>Star Wars Trilogy V1.50</VP8>
                 <FS>Star_Wars_Trilogy_VP915_v1.0.2FS</FS>
                 <execute>ALT</execute>
    </game>

    <game>
                 <name>The Phantom of the Opera</name>
                 <VP9>Phantom_of_the_Opera_LH_rob046_Mod_desktop_1610_v2.03</VP9>
                 <VP8>Phantom Of The Opera - Shockman</VP8>
                 <FS>Phantom_of_the_Opera_LH_rob046_Mod_FS_v2.04</FS>
                 <execute>ALT</execute>
    </game>

    <game>
                 <name>The Sopranos</name>
                 <VP9>Sopranos_VP915_v1.0.1</VP9>
                 <VP8>The Sopranos WT v1.6</VP8>
                 <FS>Sopranos_VP915_v1.0.1_FS</FS>
                 <execute>ALT</execute>
    </game>

Since these games need newer version of vpinball I already set the execute to ALT , maybe you have vpinball915.exe as your standard VP9 executable , then you just remove the ALT from them.

Hi horseyhorsey,

I did change it before (when i got all the bmpr's in) but the single quote in the tablename caused too much trouble...
I went back to the other one for that reason.

Unless it got renamed i'm afraid it's gonna be a nono...
And to let everyone rename it is just not going to work i think..

Sorry :(

If I remember correctly, the old version was good, but the BMPR just played incredible, so IMHO, a rename by the end user would be warranted, but that's just me :).  You could indicate this in the release notes?

Oh well, that's a shame. I know it's way too much hassle now but these tables should've all been renamed from the start instead of the downloadable name.

There's tables I can think off top of head such as "VP_Jurrasic park" that I can't bare to have it like that, it's not OCD :) , its just not alphabetical and ends up in a right mess which is why I have to have a seperate copy of all tables for PinEmHi.

I think the above was more grief than deleting a quote for a rename.
