Hi ANDROID,

You can use pinemhi leaderboard also just as a frontend using the custom xml.....

but thruth be told, if you really want a nice frontend use hyperpin with fplaunch (with pinemhi for displaying hiscores in pause menu of course  :) )

Also you can make pinemhi leaderboard work in hyperpin , you just must trick hyperpin in thinking it's a table.

Chepas (aka horseyhorsey) has done this so he could help you out.

So you just can select tables to play by flipping through all tables and one of them is pinemhi, running that will run pinemhi (you can then select the available tables in pinemhi)

I think there's something wrong with Black Pyramid hiscore, made 1.8M but the score taken by PinemHi is 0.8

Yep,

Dedrok already mentioned this.....if you don't play a full game you get this...
So in 5 minute mode you can have this problem, as well as in normal when you hit the exit button during playing.
Other tables that use the same mpu have it too.
Rolling stones etc...

Still thinking what to do about it?
Easiest way would be to remove all of these from pinemhi..

Can anyone point me in the direction of the Harlem Globetrotters VP9 table? I can't see it in the downloads section.

Yesterday I discovered this fun program and installing it was no problem.

I didn't read all the 57 pages, so forgive me if the solution is already here but when I close the table to upload my high score I get the following error :

pinhm.jpg

I use Windows 7 x64, VPinball 9.15, set the compatibility mode on XP SP3 (and also normally on Win7 mode), Admin rights

I also get this error too when I open the .exe from the Pinemhi directory

thought I upload my AFM_vp914_v2.4FS 112.000.000.000 score..... :(

One Hundred Twelve? Billion? With a "B"? Wow! Almost quadruple the current first-place score. Too bad it didn't upload, but if you still have a screenshot you can post it in The high score topic! http://www.vpforums....137#entry220228

I don't know if the 2.4 version has major changes from 2.3, but if so you might stand alone as the 2.4 isn't in the Nov. 29 PDF update. By the way; I notice that the user name, Dave72 isn't in the list of player names yet, and that may be a clue.

Anyway, congratulations on your big game!

I see, The Man is online; Good Morning Dna-D! :drinks:

Hi Dave72,

Are you sure that it's the same error message?

As you always will get an error message when you run only pinemhi_leaderboard.exe.....

It's only supposed to run by using start pinemhi_leaderboard.

have you set all executables to admin rights in the pinemhi directory?

What key did you use as exit-button?

Too bad about your AFM-score, better save your best game by trying to submit a small score first to see if it works ok

Forgot to give admin rights to fetchhi.exe.

Just played another AFM game....3 times Ruler of the Universe in 1 game.....only 83 Billion.

And when I quit the game...with the letter Q, the following message on screen : STOP - No Game Played ??

After that I can choose another game from the Frontend, but no high scores are saved...

1 step closer.....no errors this time. Also tried with a clean nvram.

My best bet is that your nvram directory in the ini file doesn't match with the one you're using...
Maybe a typo.... Or you've got multiple vpinmame's installed ?

Clean nvram is only necessary when you want to submit the special scores as they have to surpass the local scores to get submitted.
For instance when you want to do a challenge

Denk wel dat het de nvram directory is , dat is meer mensen overkomen.... :drinks:

Yep that was the problem. I made a seperate nvram folder in the pinemhi folder.

But when I changed it back to the standard Visual Pinball folder, my first high score was saved.

Thanks!!!

Now trying to get this frontend into the HyperPin frontend as a table (chepas instructions).

and trying to get some more graphics into the pinemhi frontend....instead of only the wheelart

Hi Gregg,

Did you know I was inspired by you to create the badge dictator of the universe !

You rock , Sir......

xio told me that the 2.4 is a tad more difficult ......curious what you could score .....my true dictator of the universe (10 times with the 2.3.....on the local hiscores you must have like 99 re-elections)

did you try the new version of pinemhi_leaderboard ?

You can still use the 2.3 version of AFM if you want....I replied in the thread earlier on one of your post how to do it...(but old version also still work so no problem as long as your submits go ok)

It's evening her so :drinks:  (you even start in the morning haha)

You honor me, Sire.....I am unworthy, as is my AGP8X computer..... :Worship:
Those ten ROTUs probably took twelve or fifteen games to accumulate, while DedRok_V probably got all six of his in one 400B game. Come to think of it, I'm surprised that his TWO 400B games didn't get him at least double figures for ROTU.

Jeez---that (Post #1101) was nineteen days ago!? Sorry I haven't acknowledged it sooner. I can't remember whether I've downloaded 2.1.2, but I know I haven't done the rename/replace bit yet; been wrangling an automotive issue recently. I meant to ask you; will the same trick work if I substitute the later Games file as well? With all the extra stuff, like alternate EXEs, being incorporated, I don't want to go nuts with things until I find out what's compatible.

Just to clarify: I realize that opening the Config(.ini) file is far less strenuous than pushing a Cadillac uphill with a rope, but being able to select 'Run VP8' or 'Run VP9' from the one screen (image? interface?) saves a bit of time, FS access is unneeded without a cab,and since my computer limits my choices of smooth-playing tables, I haven't installed the newer VP versions (ho hum..... I could go on for days)

If I have my time zones right, you're approaching midnight; I'll let you attend to the last pitcher. Good night, and thank yew for yoor support! :drinks:

Dave72 uses BlackPredator72 as username

You can only get one rotu per game on the hiscorelist i'm afraid...
So it's more the dedication than the scores that led to the badge dictator of the universe..

What the hell is AGP ;) . .... Ohh wait didn't they use those in WW2...i heard my grandfather talk about the marvelous graphics it produced.... :) ....sorry couldn't resist..

If i understand correctly, you want to know if you can replace the new games.xml with an older one ?
Hmm don't really know if that will work with the extra fields in it....

As long as the old version works for you i'd say keep it....i made sure people could still use older version , only thing is some scores could go directly to the retired section....but they are in the database....

Cheers my friend :drinks:

What the hell is AGP

Well, you see, they stuck two rubbers together and---I mean, rubbed two sticks.....oh, never mind..... :facepalm:

If i understand correctly, you want to know if you can replace the new games.xml with an older one? Hmm don't really know if that will work with the extra fields in it....

Just the opposite, actually (sorry for the confusion); I'm thinking of putting the newer gamelist (bigger selection) into the 1.5 version. True, there'd be a lot of stuff I couldn't access, but I wouldn't be trying to, anyway, due to all the things I harped about.....and I understand about the Retired high scores, too.

I currently have desktop shortcuts for PINemHi 1.0 (I don't use it, but I could), 1.5, and 2.01 (on which Play is now set to VP8), and they don't seem to interfere with one another, so if I load up PeH v2.1.2 and set it to VP9, I'll be able to single-click my choice of the two VPs (the alternate EXEs and new VP versions can be dealt with after I finally update/replace my computer---if I ever do it). :unsure: In the meantime, though, using the 1.5's interface lets me single-click the version after I've chosen the table, without digging through My Computer > Drive C:/ > Program Files > PINemHi > Config/INI.....

So, why do I keep three (or more) versions of PINemHi? I guess for the same reason I have five TVs.....and five cars;

Just In Case. :dblthumb: :drinks:

I know the intent for pinemhi is to have imultiplayer" leader boards but is there an offline mode? I am not certain if I want to participate in comparing my crap scores to others (maybe, just not sure ;)) but the ability to see high scores while viewing the table selection is a pretty huge thing me thinks...

Don't worry about that, it's only a bit of fun mate. Jump in to get owned.

There is a way to locally do it.  As blurs temp hiscore.txt is made you record a copy of it locally. For me this is probably best to now save hi files into pinemhi with existing because the pinemhi hiscore directory is in Hyperpin. Then place it into fplaunch.

Add into instructions menu or similar with a key, do you really want a score popping up each time you go on to a table?

Add into hyperpin like so, pinemhis files are inside main hyperpin directory. Tested.

;------------------------------------------------------------------------------;
;                                  RUN SYSTEM                                  ;
;------------------------------------------------------------------------------;
    ;Create dummy PinEmHi.vpt in tables folder

    if (tablename = "PinEmHi") {

    RunWait, START PINemHi_Leaderboard FS.exe - Shortcut.lnk, Max

    Process, WaitClose, START PINemHi_Leaderboard FS.exe
    WinWaitClose, START PINemHi_Leaderboard FS.exe ahk_class AutoHotkeyGUI
    Sleep, 500
    WinActivate, HyperPin ahk_class ThunderRT6FormDC
    ExitApp
    }

When I do exactly what Chepas describes and I start Pinemhi from HyperPin (Pinemhi.vpt),

it looks like it's going to start the "table" but then an error comes : "make sure your paths contains a backslash at the end".

And after that all my normal tables don't work also anymore. The same error. I did edit the ahk and compile it to exe.

I have to put the backup of my FPLaunch back into the HyperPin folder to work with my normal tables again.

What am I doing wrong ? :hmm:

Nope,

But you can make the white part look a lot prettier.
You can adjust it in the pinemhi leaderboard.ini file.
Look for adjust mask in the ini file...

Set the amount higher or lower to see what's the correct one.
