Hmm, that global controller script should be adjusted to handle Desktop user mode also vs Cabinet mode.

Upping 1.6 of Humpty Dumpty see if performance is better? Leaving 1.5 up also just incase 1.6 is worse. Lol

You have to post youtube.com links. Youtu.be links don't work.

With all these recent tables like the latest fastdraw, truck stop, kingpin or buck rogers when it loads it gives me an error "could not uncompress primitive vertex data" and refuses to load. Something I missed? I'm running a 750ti sc on windows 8.1

did you mix different VP versions at some point?

cause the later VP10s use primitive compression (as a lot of people simply put .vpx for download, i thought this would be a good idea to make the dload faster).

try re-downloading the tables in question and loading them with the very latest VP10 build.

if that still fails, please get back to me.

Still not loading same problem. It's just the 4 tables, latest version that's not loading. I've used both Rev2066 and Rev2069 now. Same stuff happens. I had it initially on the desktop but not in the directory. Thought this was the problem. I put it in the directory now and it's still the same. Truck stop almost wants to load, but gives me the hresult fatal error like my card is old, but it's new. (750ti sc on a 3.8 ghz with 8 GB ram)

thanks for the new Humpty Dumpty 1.6a, but I experience ball stutter badly when in the plunger lane.  1.6a does play a little different than 1.5.  Once ball is in play it plays without stutter, but seems a little slow and floaty, but I have never played a real one.  I don't have any stutter on any other table, weird.  I will try adjusting things and see if anything changes.  Thanks  (still really like mopar madness)

I get same slow down with newest vp version it's my primitive rail. I will work on decimating the thing for better performance but is a new glitch. fixable on my end I think

I love the ball image in Humpty Dumpty, looks so real I want to reach out and touch it.  Best I've seen yet on my monitor.  Thanks for the update and know now that its not my machine

Ok try 1.7a and see if it's better with decimated rails

Edit to 1.7a i think it should be smooth in lane now

Truck Stop and Buck Rogers are both rev 2044. I'll upload them later as rev 2069. Maybe this will fix the problem. But it's weird ...

So here are the links to the rev2069 versions of TS and BR. I had no problems at all to load and play the rev2044 version in a rev2069 environment. But give them a try and report if the something has changed.

Here is a MOD of JP's AFM beta.  All of the wizardry is his, all credit goes to him and the others that worked on the original table.   :love39:   I did this for myself and thought I'd share so other could play it.

heres what I did

I updated the lights/GI/flashers to the vp10 versions.  I added in primitives here and there from the default table.  I also made new targets and the center target cage.  I tried making the left black ball capture thing.  (I've been practicing my 3d modeling :-) )  I added a black light skin for the saucer models :-), check the top of the script to enable.  I modeled the gates on the ramps.  The gate covers were ones Dark had uploaded to the site.  I added in the ball rolling/rubber/metal hit sounds from the default table also...  Not sure if they are correct though?  They are hard to hear while playing.

There was some code around the flippers that gave errors, I commented it out and seems to still play ok?  I also had to comment code that had this in it.... TriggerSingleUPdate  Not sure what it did, but again the table still seems to play ok.  I also put in an option to disable the rotation of the little saucers.  I was getting quite quite a bit of performance issues with them enabled.
