Very strange. Table already was set in the script to sttn_l7. Also posted scores for this table in the past with the same settings and it worked. For some reason now not anymore.

Can you post your log file, and not just the few lines ?

detected exit from game with rom description : Star Trek: The Next Generation (LX-7, Sound L-1) new score extracted *** previous score is equal to new score *** *** probably because there was no game played *** *** it could also be that this rom is not supported (yet) *** *** this score will not be submitted ***

Thanks.
You don't have a matching romname.
Looks like you don't have an up to date pinemhi.ini
Add the following line in the romfind section:
Star Trek: The Next Generation (LX-7, Sound L-1)=sttng_l7.nv

Hi

It seems there is a problem with my Time Machine Table. I play it with ROM tmac_a24, but scores are not uploadee to the leaderboard. I've tried to delete the corresponding nv file from the nvram folder, but no any new tmac_a24.nv file is created in the nvram folder when I quit the Table. It's bizarre because all was ok back in april 2022 when my scores was well recorded. I haven't change anything since that date.

It's a pity because while I have succeed to reach the "more than 5.000.000" scores on the 09 november, the score has not been  recorded, then I'm stuck at the KiddieChallenge lvl39 :(

Otherplayers> are your scores uploaded with this table ?

@DNAdISTURBER> May I ask for support please ? :) Thanks in advance.

Cheers everybody  :bar1:

Hi TheYLF,

It doesn't seem related to pinemhi as no nvram is created.
Perhaps a redownload of the table can help?
It can also be that in the script of the table there is something that prevents vpinmame closing correctly thus not making an nvram or update an nvram

Not sure if there is another table to try out in vpx to see if that one works though

I'll see if i have time to download the table and try it myself

Add the folowing to the end of the script of the higus table, but before the 'End class'
Sub Time_Machinee_Exit
    If b2son then controller.stop
End Sub
and the nv rom will be write correctly

Edit noticed that the format was screwed of the code

Ok Guys, thank you. The code from Mike runs well on the Bigus version of the table, BUT ONLY IF I run the table from VPx program, then Quit with the Escape button.

nv file creation (and therefore PinemHi score update) still doesn't work if I lauch the game from PINUP POPPER, I can't figure why... one more Pincab deep mistery :)

Note : Bigus has really improved the game behaviour from the JPJ table version. A good example of synergy here :)

Your help was really appreciated in this matter  :otvclap:

That has to do with how you programmed the exit from pinup...try to set it to a different key in the config file of pinup system
I'm not sure which one it was but sometimes escape or q can give trouble (not matching it to visualpinballx exit i believe it was that solved it)

Nice job ! Looks really awesome. 4 months to get all 18 holes?
According to the scorecard, you just played 1 hole, so no :drinks: for you ! (Well, for all your work you can have it)
But the game is frustrating ....
