Very nice gtxjoe and jbg4208. I always love to see a fix to a problem explained, especially a fix where I know exactly what the problem is. Feel like I'm young in two ways now, playing pinball and being in school. Unfortunately work calls, would love to give this a try right now.

Same here, work is getting in the way to try the new code :(. Thanks for working on this to make it a more playable table until the official update :). I expect higher scores in the coming days.

Left kicker is still eating the balls, i replaced the code posted by gtxjoe but it happens again.

 

During 2 ball multiball, i shot 1 ball into the joker hole and 2nd ball drained at the same time, ball from kicker never comes (you hear release sound but there is no ball). My first thought was the drain destroys wrong ball or two balls instead of one.

 

Then after game restart i tried to do it again but no luck, i mean game is working perfect again. Weird.


One day i'll build Vitalik statue out of used AMD gpu's.

That sound just weird ganjafarmer. Anyway, sounds like it didn't make things worse at least - so, that's a good thing. Haven't had time to test this myself yet. Will now :)

Update: The kicker hole fix didn't work that well for me. Now it seems to get lost almost all the time and I managed to fill the hole with balls.
Looked kind of funny - ball humping the other balls underneath.

Update: Ah - crap - my bad. I didn't copy/paste correctly.

And you are thanking us ? Hmm. I know someone that REALLY deserves a big thank you - and his nick-name is Javier1515 !

Now I'm quite sure I pasted that gtxjoe fix correctly, but, like ganjafarmer, it seems to still have issues. Decided to play a 4 player game to see what happened over time.
Needed to abort the games - machine/rom got severely confused.

Ramp adjustment was perfect - thank youj.

When you add friction to ramps you can't make full loop with left flipper and rotation still exist but it's not so fast like before.

 

When you add kicker to destroy ball and create new one -  this is good solution but again you can't pass the ball to left flipper and catch it or hold it on right flipper, you need to shoot or pass to the left and shoot (can't catch), so this is a bit harder to get the ball control after ramp loop.

 

And i've noticed something, gtxjoe or javier1515, check Wall11(behind saucer), it's covering a bit of kicker hole, so i moved this Wall11 a little to the back and i have no problems after 45 minutes of play i didn't lost any balls. Maybe that was the problem or maybe i'm lucky.

I still got it to act up with your change ganjafarmer. However, I've seems to have had some success with reducing the radius of sw39b, down to 30. Change that and of course you also change the way it is spat out of the hole.

line 116: .InitSaucer Sw39b, 39, 140, 25. 140 is angle and 25 is power, I leave it up to you to experiment.

I added Batman & Robocop to HiScore API. First time I actually played through and seems pretty broken for now, but i'm still in test phase, so I'll hold off the CRC checks for batman.

Yep, sure enough. I didn't check the left flipper. I just use the right flipper to shoot it. lol How about adjusting the batcave ramp to 0.1 and the other ramp to 0.35.

@gtxjoe - damn, still got the problemn. Like ganjafarmer, I believed I had partly solved it because I played for quite a long time without any issues. Added your code and it happened again just after maybe 4 games. Maybe I need to try going back on that radius. I don't know.

Oops, I had the joker eyes mouth delay set to 5 seconds, so I could shoot a bunch of balls into them for stress testing.  I corrected the script (1 sec delay) in the previous post changing 5000 to 1000 so it should have

How weird is that - played for an hour without any problems ?? Ok, re-validate and clean up the script all from the beginning again today. Can't imagine that I made a mistake again, but, who knows. Or, it might be just my normal bad luck. Again, need to wait for me to get back from work.

Thanks gtxjoe for the updated code! Will test the modified code today and see if the majority of the issues have been addressed. Don't have to go to work today so time for some bat-ass pinball :).
