Okay , here is the cirqus voltaire fix for using the new table from JPSALAS with rom cv_20hc. The rom cv_20hc will only work under vpinmame 2.5 so if you haven't gotten around to updating to it here is another solution:open the table using vpinball exe and edit script .....chose rom cv_20h instead of cv_20hc , that will still work with vpiname 2.4 So if you use vpinmame 2.5 just download the attachment and overwrite in your pinemhi v2.1.1 folder (this also goes for the FS-version) @dedrock  no worries i'll add the insane ones later on ;)

I just tried it, could sumbit score & got the thumb up "score submitted", but I don't see it in the website ?
Hmmm no idea what went wrong..do you use vpinmame 2.5 or did you alter the tablescript to use another rom?
I tried it and flashingblade also posted a score , his was in fs and mine in normal vp9...

Are you sure you did overwrite the pinemhi_leaderboard.exe file , as this is exactly what would happen if you didn't overwrite it ?
Everything looks fine but It doesn't get posted to the website without the fix...

I'll check tonight, I'm sure I overwrited ancient file, but maybe my shortcut does launch another exe (I think I have about 5 Pinemhi folders :) ).

Is it possible that now there are more of us, we are overloading the site uploading scores at the same times.

Earlier I could upload but as more start showing up later in the nite it stopped for me.

No don't think that's it.
There aren't many players...

I know the intent for pinemhi is to have imultiplayer" leader boards but is there an offline mode? I am not certain if I want to participate in comparing my crap scores to others (maybe, just not sure ;)) but the ability to see high scores while viewing the table selection is a pretty huge thing me thinks...

Hi loafer,

You can just use it as an offline frontend but the hiscores aren't visible (yet) in table selection.
Best way would be if BBB would let hyperpin read txt files at the selection of the table....with pinemhi (offline hiscore reader) you can extract the hiscores in txt files via fplaunch after playing a game naming them the same as in hyperpin.

It can be done just needs hyperpin update... :(

Don't worry about that, it's only a bit of fun mate. Jump in to get owned.

There is a way to locally do it.  As blurs temp hiscore.txt is made you record a copy of it locally. For me this is probably best to now save hi files into pinemhi with existing because the pinemhi hiscore directory is in Hyperpin. Then place it into fplaunch.

Add into instructions menu or similar with a key, do you really want a score popping up each time you go on to a table?

Add into hyperpin like so, pinemhis files are inside main hyperpin directory. Tested.

Ideally, I would not want the hiscore to pop up every time I navigate a table at the press of the flipper button, but add a 3 second delay where it automatically pops up if you stop on a taglr or as I think you are suggesting at the press of a button, and that would be great. I have an iPac 2 so with shifting the button idea would work great.

I will have to install this and mess around with it. This is a really cool program, well done all involved. thanks for the advice Chepas

I don't understand : I tried the FS version, I submitted 243'000 & it worked, but it didn't work when submitting 170 000 000 ?

edit : I downloaded the last version again, and had same problem I had on CV with Star Wars (submit, thumb up, but no score on the website)

On Friday I had some games, well......quite a few games because I ended up testing to see if I could locate problems. The only real problems client side is making sure VP isn't crashing on exit, which is mainly down to ESC as exit key or if you're running full screen direct B2S some code needs to be added to table script. As long as you get the correct score come up on exit of a table it should be good that end.

There is a problem, I wouldn't like to say how big but it's definatley something to do with your server . One day it might make a connection and well other days, it won't do anything. I must of spent a good 3 hours trying all sorts of ways to see why. Firewalls, configs etc etc. This is all tested through the standard launch and through hyperpin/fplaunch.

I think it might be best adding a connection test to server in the error logs. What happens, score is made , send to server and if it fails then what ? it will just fail? It's very hit & miss compared to how it used to run.

Couple of more things to add to that.

Took a kiddie challenge. Failed but score posted that time , which was 17 on AFM and challenge was 15

Getting 4 bill on drac again and not posted. < I know this game works when server wants to accept it. The same with many of the others.

The party zone - Check the tables score and look at the 5 minute mode, I am there, but you can check my name and it's not there. This was after about 20 attempts at trying to post this game too.

I will jump on and try some more later to see if it's any different. Maybe server doesn't like friday night. :bar2:

The downloads on vpforums don't contain the fix for cv yet...so if you haven't applied it it makes sense...

Strange as you never had issues before posting scores looking in prior posts but now you're talking about days that it's not working..the server had some problems on thursday , that i know ..maybe also on friday ?
It's just a oneway street for posting scores.....i would also like to know "how it used to run" because to my knowledge this is the only way it ran :) , that part never changed..
No return message i'm afraid when posting a score.

The problem with the challenges has been fixed , i posted that on the 12th of februari in this thread.....or you must refer to another incident then the one in januari?

I'll look into the partyzone 5min mode not showing up in your info user page..

You mean replacing the exe by the new cv_fixed one ? which is what I did, but got issues with CV & StarWars

Maybe I should download a new complete version of the program, but I don't know where ?

Are you planning to add more games or are you focusing on the challenges/badges for now ? I'd love to have hmueck's Stargate in PinemHi

Loaded up party zone,  just played 1 ball and it posted that time, and that table on Friday would not work at all after 20 attempts. So it's all good for now but I think really it would be nice if you could add some kind of conformation.

If conformation that the server failed to recieve, I would leave it alone and play another day and not waste time trying to post more scores or change my configurations.

Don't get me wrong , I don't mind trying it and playing but how its setup here is 100% working. It's just them bad days of server, or score not being allowed to retry on a fail.

I haven't time to try a challenge at the moment but I need to try that again at some point.

Another post incase you don't see an edit. Party Zone posted to main website front page but if you look on my username it isn't there. Standard mode not 5 minute.

Played a few games last night and had some issues with Class of 1812.  All others I played seemed to post just fine and 1812 psted a 5 minute mode.  After that it wouldn't record the normal mode posting.  Like the others, got the thumbs up but no shows in the list.

I am running the CV fixed version and have revamped the exit on my cab.  First time I've seen it happen.
