the "missing" lights are in the playfield, look closer smile.gif In the first version it didn't have the borders, and it didnæt look right, so I made an update and the borders are there smile.gif

Nice night version smile.gif A pity it will become too dark and we won't be able to see the artwork smile.gif

Hey guys, I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, but I have created a new lamp model for this table:

I have rendered it at an angle that fits the FS version better and at double the resolution of the original images (though with the same proportions). It's not a simple drop-in replacement, the VP objects need to be shifted a bit so that it sits precisely on top of the spinning "support".

Here's the archive with the 36 bitmaps: Lampara.zip

Of course if somebody decides to mod this into the "official" version of the table, I would be honored. In that case let me know if you need a slightly different angle, or lighting, color, whatever. If anybody is interested, I can send them the original Blender model as well.

I used only the IPDB images of the table as reference, so I had to take a couple of liberties with the top relief (OK, I made it all up from scratch smile.gif).

Ciao,
Michael

I might have gotten pics of the real lamp, but if I didn't, could I use that in the upcoming night mod I have planed

Great work on the lamp! And I'm sure looking forward to the NM version, that would be very much in keeping with the theme of the game (these are after all tales for a sleepless sultan). I would also PM JPSalas, that way it will be incorporated in the "official" table as a visual enhancement and there wouldn't be a need for another version/mod

Nice lamp! If you want you may send it to my email, it is in all my tables.

I guess in september I'll start making tables again. Just now I have too many other things to do.
